SMG is slightly abusing the mail feature. Every time I switch off my Wii, it flashes blue to tell me that a mail has arrived. Oddly enough they're all about that inept brother of mine.

When do you unlock the mail feature Dogg?

Well it just runs through the normal mail system on the Wii and has happened ever since

I found Luigi. Quite early on. He keeps getting lost in other galaxies and the Toad keeps sending me mails to tell me that.

Ah, I thought you meant the list of stars that you have or need that you can send out as described in the manual. Seems to be an option from the "map" screen, but I can't see it yet (only on the first few galaxies though).

Oh okay. No, I haven't done that at all. But then I have nobody in my Wii friends list so I have nobody to send it to. Not sure why I would either. I guess it's star willy-waving.

Please can it be friends code time now please?

My best friend has just got this... He hasn't played it yet, just phoned me to share his excitment.

Is it sad that i'm generally happy for him? I've been smiling like a silly-little kid knowing that he's just about to experience something uniquely magical

That's just it Adam, it's a truly magical game.

I can't remember the last time I played a game and just smiled inside and out all the way through.

Well I think there's officially a new Mario fan in the form of my 2 year old cousin, we were looking after him again last night and I couldn't drag him away from the screen. He gasped when Mario was upside down and just pointed at the screen, turned round to me and said 'Mario! upsidedown!' and then went on about Marios red cap 'Mario! red hat!' along with his usual 'Mario! stomp!'

I think i'll get him a Mario plush as he's going to love it, he's never really been interested in other games before except PGR4 as he likes bikes, but it just makes me smile to see him like a gaming legend

Chloe, my misses' little one (aged 5), has been loving this too.

Earlier we were playing Co-Star together and she was sweeping up Star Bits like a little pro. She loves the colours and the dreamy feel of everything... Constantly gasping, always smiling and wriggling excitably in her chair. It is so wonderful watching her play beside me. Makes me smile :-)

The game makes me feel like I'm five myself. It really does have a childlike feel that is just perfect.

Been trying to make it last, i've been playing quite slow..with maybe 2-3 hours sessions all week, but, I've managed just under 10 hours so far today, i want to make it last a bit, but its just too good!

I really wished i could of saved this game for Christmas..it would be the perfect time to play a magical game. It's impossible to put away now! its just so magnificent.

                            Best Game Ever.

i have played so many incredible games this year, but galaxy exists in a universe all of its own

words cannot do it justice ... i guess all i can say is that after playing videogames for over 20 years and having become increasingly cynical and disillusioned, i am being perpetually stunned by the brilliance of this game

70 stars in ... this is by far the best thing i have ever played, for me it is lightyears ahead of everything else. i have never felt like this about a game before, maybe parts of games - like the very start of mario 64 or the final section of ico ... but this makes me feel like that ... all the time ... its like im playing in the dreams of my childhood

for the longest time i have been looking for a game so incredible that it would rekindle my love for the medium ... ironically, galaxy will probably be the last game i ever play, as i can't think of a better moment to stop

I agree with what you say I've realy gone off games lately trying them for a few minutes then never touching them again even games I would have loved 2 years ago.

I can't put galaxy down i do a few stars switch off so it lasts longer but I'll be back to it in less then an hour.

I love the whole look of the game each enemy has so much character to it.

Does anyone else think the hub world looks out of place compared to the rest of the game like it was designed by a different team or something?
