I handled that slightly different and decided that I would just terminate the interview like an interstellar diva.

I got a call from Alliance HQ telling me they were impressed with the way I'd handled it as she was clearly had an angle (go me!) but no news report as she didn't have any story.

There's been more than a few occasions where the option has appeared to just shoot the person I'm talking to. There was one gang member where I was sorely tempted to just click the button and blow him away in front of everyone in Cora's Den >_<

It does but not much in my experience. I think the main determining factor is your characters sniper skill once you've unlocked it.

I'm loving the Incendiary upgrades for weapons though. Really powerful and dissolve the Geth in a fiery red heap for some visual payback

And as a total aside I had an interesting chat this morning was Garus today about Krogan testicles. Apparently they have
      of them

I think that might be to do with your character class. You might not be able to depending on which one you picked. If you went something like soldier (as I did) then you may never get the chance to do it.

        3. In combat my party seems to die alot eventhough I`ve put them in the most expensive armour I can get. I have Garrus in my party and he dies straight away in any combat situation.
He did with me too - kept dropping like a sack of spuds every time someone so much as whipped out a gun.

As you level them up they get a lot more powerful and he's now able to hold his own quite well. I found if you tinker with the game settings so that the AI gets to decide when to use their powers, they last a bit longer.

The bulk of their survival depends on their level though and sometimes on you getting to equip the right weapons / rounds for the circumstances (organic / synthetic enemies etc).

        4. I`ve been doing a lot of side quests to try and get money but I never seem to have enough, any tips for getting a lot of cash?
Not really much help on this front but I just ignored the whole cash thing and just carried on. You can hold up to 150 items so I just went off exploring and got loads of stuff on my travels. You can then sell it on and the credits starting stacking up.

What's with the buy/sell rates in this game though ? In Oblivion they were bad, but in this it crazy : buy a gun for 8000 credits sell it for 15 wtf is that all about Spent hours in Obliv raiding and collecting and selling on but it's not really worth it in this at that sort of exchange rate - I just melt the stuff down for Gel now !

Think it depends on your intimidation level, you get a bonus for that.

Bear in mind though that at max rank you only get something like a 10% bonus, and 10% of 18 credits isn't exactly something worth boasting about.

Charm, however, reduces cost of items by 10% (IIRC) which is a much more useful bonus, as even the early items cost 50k+.

clocked the game (24hrs). I really love the game, but I really hate the U3 engine, texture load kills the game when it switches between different scenes quickly. Not only does the fps chug down but the cutscenes just arnt pretty when your looking at a just the pologon, by the time the texture loads its already cut to a different angle - thus more reload. If they manage to xfer your actions to the second game, that would be pretty impressive. Id settle for a contuination of the story - reviewers were right, I felt a lot more satified with the ending than AC.

What I only realised after clocking the game was that some achievements actually give you a ingame bonus, like + sheild strength, or normandy rep sells sepecture gear etc.

Anyone else had that this would be awesome with some MMO aspects added to it? Build a crew with friends and go around doing missions etc.

I was just talking to my mate about that now.

Would be ace meeting in the Citadel, swapping weapons and going off on missions, maybe on the next one, eh?

Sometimes I find the texture pop-in a shame - this game is stunning in places.

A bit off-topic, but can someone tell me why texture pop-in occurs?

                            I' met him and

Gave him a autograph now, but the journal gives me no clues to how I can meet him next

It is to do with the Unreal 3 Engine which I believe is what Mass Effect is using. The textures are streamed in which results in loading times that are extremely short, however the downside is that shaders and textures pop in sometimes a little late.
