My GHII guitar works great and the RB one is wireless 360 so I don't see why not

I'm using a GH3 one, even the star power thing works, I thought it wasn't meant to work. weird

I agree that the Strat is a beautiful piece of kit though. Feels a lot nicer than the GH offerings.
Hmm, the strum bar is a bit too spongy for my tastes, needs more snap. Is there a way to alter it like that?

I had my GH2 sat behind my computer desk for ages. Tried it last night forgot how small and hard work it is on the fingers with the frets. Had same thing happen to me with a few people and using the whammy bar it was cutting notes out now and again on RB. It works fine on RB 360 (not PS3 though they wont no GH controller will on PS3) but the RB guitar is just a work of art compared to it and of course you miss the effects (you always been able to use the star power on 360 with GH its the effects and solo buttons its just missing). I just cant go back after using RB controller I even find using my upstrumming with forefinger and middle easier.

I ended up starting on drums for first time for quick test and 2half hours later I had to finish for food (130am!). Only on easy but I went from hitting nowt in time with the pedal and notes to being able to nail pretty much the lot on Rolling stones track. Miles harder but boy I love it, feels for first time Im playing something real, just need a metal pedal next month. Oh and PS3 pedal works fine on 360, did a test to try it incase I snap one

Oh man, these drums are just as awesome as I'd hoped they'd be! I'm utterly hopeless (at one point during Weezer threw a drumstick away by mistake) and my feet and hands are in no way co-ordinated, but this is so much fun. I can't wait until I get good and can stop playing easy songs, heh

You will soon get there TTK but dont be a hero once you start getting the hang of it just keep to easy till you feel you real have mastered the level(getting steady 90 odd % on alot of the songs will help) as medium level is a different ball game completely more footpedal involved also which realy cranks up the difficulty.

Aye even easy drums feels like playing for real doesnt it? It really knocks drummania into the stoneage. I noticed even the sticks have a branded logo on them now which they didnt on USA launch nice touch indeed. I aint looking forward to going near one of my fav guitar songs Maps on drums though heh.

Use a plectrum like I do.

I'm a bit rubbish with this new guitar. I love the silent strumming, but I can't work out where my hand is on the frets when I start moving to orange, which was really easy on the Xplorer.

                      Practice!

The logo was on the US sticks, well some of the kits at least.

Not at all! It makes it much easier on the faster sections and it's just cooler.

Also solves the "spongy strum bar" problem.

Yeah I was only kidding, I might get one - I am no guitarist but I finished 99% of GH1 and 2 on expert - really want to nail RB to death!

On another note, can't wait to play Still Alive!

Got mine today. Haven't played it yet though, only just got back from the gym. Knackered as F***. I do love the build quality on these, especially the drums. Can't wait to get stuck in.
