Btw. set your passing to manual and you can pass on the ground by pressing B once, and pass in the air by pressing B twice. Yeah, amazing game, can't wait to try it out online!

Played a bit more of this today as I hadn't touched it in about a week. Thought I'd get started on the Champions Road mode.

Won the first mini-league pretty comprehensively and laughed so hard when I unlocked

the play as Mii mode!! Hitler in defence, Jesus upfront what a combination!!

Thought it needed spoilering as I've not seen it mentioned here and couldn't see it in the (admittedly brief glimpse I gave it) manual.

Just out of interest, has anybody completed Champions' Road on this? And if so, do you have to complete the in-match challenges (ie. "Score with a volley", etc.) to be able to pick 4 and 5-Star players from the teams you beat?

I only ask this as I've won a few of the smaller 3-team leagues and can currently pick 3-Star players for my team, but I get the feeling that I need to complete the in-game challenges in order to unlock the ability to pick the really top-class players in order to put together a high-quality team/squad, and I'm finding this to be tricky.
