Its not true in MKwii though it happens sometimes but majoirty of time the orders switch. Ive had mass battles with 2nd and 3rd for on the last race someone right down from 4th has won us all against CPU. Its not like older series where 2nd if your first stays second.

As for the frustration stick with it it takes a good 5hours and to get away from 50cc after completing all golds to start appreciating it. Goes from argh stupid blue shells and cheating AI to learning and winning comfortably. Tracks arent wide on 100cc and 150cc thats for sure. When you get good at the tracks you wont see the AI and win by half a lap as well easily.

In all honesty any game shouldnt require 5 hrs of frustration before it becomes fun.

It doesn't. It only takes that long if you care about 3 starring the cups. SImply winning a gold is pretty easy in all cups, all classes. Its good fun!

5hours for me to get away from 50cc with all golds and used to tracks not 5hours frustration. If you read my early post when I got it I hated it for same reasons, now my thumb has blisters

I'm amazed at how it just 'clicks' and then 150cc becomes fairly easy.

Got the ntsc version finally! Played online a bit and it's flawless, no lag and very smooth

Yeah was up til 3am playing heh... even got one disconnect bug win for 102 points on the ranking. Won every race on 50cc and got stars in all cups bar Special (bloody Rainbow Road probably), onto 100cc. Mind you, doing RR on 150cc online was an eyeopener, practice needed there, still managed to come 4th of 12 though that time...

I noticed a checkered flag icon on my MK Channel earlier which apparently means the first online contest has started.. didn't have time to have a go, but I've read it is a normal race apart from there are Chain Chomp's going around the course as well. Sounds good, but the random possibility of lightning/blue shells might be an added frustration to setting a good time.

Grabbed this yesterday on a whim, dunno why with GTa coming out. But its great so far, loving using the wheel to control it.

Got the day off work to play gta today and I spent the morning on this and super turrican

2.01.xxx was my best after two attempts, shame you can't download an ghosts on the competitions.

I managed a 1.55 with an appaling run, got hit by 3 blue shells

I just had a few tries and got 1.47.0 - apart from lighting and a POW it wasn't too bad, but there is way too much luck required to avoid encountering bad items so I don't think I'll put too much effort into bettering it.
