The game just keeps giving!!

You are lucky, in my case it wouldn't give me anything! (by that I mean missions).

Am I really the only person on here who had that problem? I did a search on tinterweb and it seems very widespread (always at different stages of the game too)

There were a couple of times when it seemed like I didn't have anything to do, but calling up contacts (Or messing around until they called me) always moved me on.

I just found going to bed for several hours (in game) was enough to trigger a few phonecalls.

Did the bank job last night. Excellent. When I focus on the missions the game is great but when I want to 'sandbox' I get bored.

the bank job was amazing, played it on my big tv with 5:1 ringing out and it just felt like taking part in the Heat shoot out.

I got given the rocket launcher last night, really loving this and almost don't want it to end, grabbed a cheap San Andreas to play on back compat on the 360 as never went near that or Vice.

I don't know whether it was the update, but when I go to change clothes I now only have the trousers for the suit. I had a couple of Russian outfits, but have no trousers for them. This is my fourth time through (second on the PS3) and it hasn't happened before.

Damn, I want this game really badly. I'm really tight though (I think &#163;40 for any game is a rip-off), will this game keep me going for a long time?

I completed it last night after about 40 hours at 63&#37; complete. I could easily keep the game going for another 40 hours just messing around and finishing the relationships etc. GTA games are nothing if not good value for money (Assuming you enjoy them, obviously).

Yeah, that's true. I always base the value on hours spent. So for me GTA is costing about &#163;1.00ph. That ain't bad when you consider other forms of entertainment. Resi 4 has probably been the best value as I've played through it about 4 times.

I've tried applying this to porn movies but it's not quite the same. I think that's more a cost per view. With this in mind a twenty quid porno costs me about 5p an hour. An hour being 12 viewings. That's value for money.

Back to the game. I'm really pleased that people are still playing it. After the monumental excitement just before this game, I thought more people would be into it.

I remember from playing San Andreas that despite telling myself I'd finish all the remaining tasks (packages, boulder pushing etc.) after completing the story, I never did.

So this time, I've just unlocked the final island and I'm doing some of the side missions before continuing the main story. Just bagged my 200th pigeon and I've about 30 unique jumps left.

Genuinely surprised at how fast it's got old for people, especially as it's got such a fun multiplayer and nearly everybody has it so it's easy to play with mates.

i think I am around 30p an hour on the game (taking into account that I have the PS3 and the 360 versions). I am on my second play through on the PS3. I have a 100% game on the 360 and another where I went for the under 30 hour completion. I am certainly getting my money's worth out of the game.

So this time, I've just unlocked the final island and I'm doing some of the side missions before continuing the main story. Just bagged my 200th pigeon and I've about 30 unique jumps left.

Looking through my stats last night after the credits rolled and I noted that I have a grand total of 3 pigeons and I've found 3 unique jumps (And failed them all)!

I refuse to use a guide for this, I'm just going to fire it up every now and again and mess about for a while.

Wow, Bassman! 100&#37; on 360 and you're on your second playthrough on the PS3 - Nobody can argue that you're getting your money's worth! Good work!

45 - Obviously, I did use a guide for the pigeons, but I actually found it quite therapeutic. It was like a sedate treasure hunt.

I also chuckled at the concept of people walking down the street when suddenly a helicopter would fly down and a be-suited man gets out, shoots a pigeon and then flies off again...

Yeah, getting the pigeons without a guide is nigh on impossible!

Can you imagine doing it without a guide and having one single bird to find?!?
