    I got them all

I think I've exhausted everything this game has to offer, and still it begs me to play it over and over again - the full game speed run adds some excellent replayability, I wish every level had a speed run though.

I can't even think about the full game speed run yet, it seems way too impossible. I've attempted the singles but nowhere near close. Yeah I reckon every level should have one as well, but I'm happy they're even there as an actual seperate thing.

I've got the achievement for the speed run already - but I can knock a good ten minutes off it looking at the leaderboards which is plenty incentive to replay and replay! One of the speed runs in particular I'm a good thirty seconds off the pace so that will help if I can work out the best way through it.

I'll probably be happy if I can take my time under 40 minutes in the end (I'm at 42, but I made silly mistakes)

How much room do you have to breath when attempting the full game speed.

Not much in practice (or as much as 12 minutes, looking at the leaderboards), but it depends largely on the routes you take through each level. You might think you're being as quick as possible but there could be a much quicker route - I've taken as much as a minute off of certain levels through trying different things and doing things in different orders. Writing down your time at the end of each world would help you to work out where you're losing the most time, if you don't make it. For reference, my speed run which was completed in 42 minutes had these times at the end of each world...

            2 03:26.83
            3 11:15.45
            4 18:33.52
            5 26:02.10
            6 36:45.67

But I lost a lot of time in world five with mistakes on Bridging the Gap and another level.

See, that'd be it for me, something horrible would happen in world 5 or 6 and I wouldn't be able to face going through it again. I love the idea of speedruns though, just in practice I don't have the patience for em.

I love world six. Was playing when really tired and sucked a bit - today, just awesome, its an easy concept to understand and the way the item interacts with the environment. Such a well thought out game, I hope there is a sequel or DLC

Just finished with 60, once I figured out the key to world six I did the remaining puzzles pretty quickly. It's weird how impossible it all seems at first but once you've figured it out they seem so simple.

Although I already knew the jist of the ending I thought

it was incredibly well done. One of the most surprising and cleverly implemented 'reveals' i've ever seen. Still don't have a clue what the epilogue meant, or why I could only read half the books, or what that platform did.

                    In the epilogue

only the red books have text. The green books act as switches, to turn the red books off. The reason for this is that if you have the red book open and you go and stand behind a piece of scenery the text changes to an alternate (and more revealing) version. So they're just extra puzzles, tasking you with getting behind the scenery without having the red book close on you.

This isn't always true for me, maybe because I have a shocking memory but I've restarted from scratch and I can't for the life of me do Fickle Companion in World 4 anymore. It didn't cause me this much trouble the first time, I actually enjoyed it but I've just got really annoyed at it, given up and am gonna watch the walkthru. It's not cheating, I've already done it

Maybe you have to be in a certain mood?

I'm just going to spoiler this whole paragraph. Don't read unless you've finished the game and are interested in Family Fry's theory from a few posts up:

I don't buy the atomic bomb theory. It was the first thing I thought of when I read "now we are all sons of bitches", and that also made me think of the explicit mention of Manhattan that came around that time, but it seems too obvious and lazy for what he's done with the rest of the game. Maybe he's referencing the atomic bomb as a metaphor for how Tim has destroyed everything good in his life - I see that castle built from the level icons as him rebuilding with what he's learnt from his mistakes - but to say that the whole game is a metaphor for the atomic bomb is being far too literal.

And now, the subject of the speed runs: I'm never going to be able to do the whole game in under 45 minutes. I tried the first level, shaving off as much time as I could, and I don't think I got within five seconds of the target time, and then I watched a video on YouTube of someone doing it in 58 seconds and I couldn't see what he did differently

Still one of my favourite games of the year so far, though. I need to stop thinking about it so that I can forget some of the puzzles and play it again.

I've just noticed that the timer in speed runs has a green glow - because it's not affected by rewinding

I've only tried the first level. My first attempt was about a minute-and-a-half slow. Managed to beat the target time by 0.20 of a second after a couple of runs. I think I can get faster as I did make a slight mistake.

Do you have to collect all puzzle pieces in the full game speedrun? If so, I can't see myself doing that.

You have to fully complete the game, so you need all the puzzle pieces, yeah.
