What weapon does everyone prefer?

I generally mix weapons up. For example on my last playthrough i used the Dark Knight's sword for the end of the game.

I can now finish this game at level 29. Go me!

I maxed out magic first, and it's powerful stuff... I had problems with the Lava World level, as it was difficult to do damage to the boss - but overall it works well...

One of the standard attacks ('Y' I think) just freezes a whole line of enemies and constantly does damage, it has the added benefit that other enemies tend to walk into it trying to get in front of you to attack...

Jumping and using that same attack repeatedly also hovers you in the air while you fire out a poweful fireball... great stuff for some of the other bosses which I've minced in seconds from it.

Anyway - superb game; more hack 'n' slash RPGs please!! (Or if not, please bring Champions of Norrath to xbox )

I am now finding the Red Knight is not the best for Ranked Arena matches...

Who does everyone else use?

I've tried ranked arena about three times. When I could find a match, every time the host flicked straight to green knight, which is the only one I've ranked up, so I had to quit. I know this is supposed to be "part" of the experience, but there's no way in hell I'm going to level up all the knights to the sorts of heights that all the boomerang/catfish spamming Yanks have just to stand a chance in arena.

So, I think it's a waste of a mode, really, other than in local.

You need to re-visit the thieves forest entrance where the owl is and use a certain little animal to find it...

Has anyone maxed out a characters stats? I've hit the one bar per level stage now and the final few slots of agility and strength are taking an age to fill even when using the

I personally haven't but I fought in the arena against a lvl 99 guy... I assume he has maxed the stats to maxtown.

I'm nearly there with green knight - I'm a bit CC-ed out at the mo, though, so took a break from going through Insane mode. You level up pretty quickly legitimately in there, if you're not cheap enough to boost.

The black fuzzly thing that's before the deer chase gets LOADS of experience for me. I usually level up 3+ times just from the boss, since there's loads of enemies to bat about. It's fun as hell to boot!

Speaking of insane mode, i'm surprised there's not an achievement for completing that... glad, but surprised!! lol

How do you unlock insane mode? I've completed it with my housemate but he struck the final blow and kissed the maiden, does that mean it doesn't count for me?

Well I completed it with one character, went back into the game and it appears at the bottom of the map... I don't think you'd have to have made the final blow or anything, but maybe you could try and complete the last level on your own again...
