    Download gaming full stop for me has been where gaming is at this past few months, and with highlights such as GTi Club, Wipeout HD, Duke Nukem 3D and Banjo Kazooie + more the bubble isn't bursting anytime soon

    Had a bez on the CastleCrashers Demo at the weekend, to be honest, I'd probably have bought it if it wasn't 1200 points.

      Got my main character to LV 62. Playing on insain mode is pretty tough as well, the mini troll boss is kicking my ass. It isn't all bad though as you level up really quickly against him and his horde.

      Also, they're announcing the patch list on wesenday. Hopefully it'll fix the bugs and online play, because I wanna try it.

            this point debate stuff is quite tedious but Microsoft have done it themselves, an extra 400 points (or lets call them currency units) seems a lot, when in reality we all know its just a couple of quid, its just seems like a lot more.

            if they made the scale of the units much smaller then from a psychological point of view the price gulf wouldn't seem so big, its not like we see the points in the scale used that often anyway.

              I finished the single player last night - really enjoyed it all the way through.

              I did find quite a few bugs though I have to say - for example I defeated one boss

              (the one that plays the organ while cannons fire at you from all angles)

              with a single throw - the throwing animation just looped over and over again as his energy drained - then he froze and I thought it was going to crash, fortunatley it didn't.

              As much as I enjoyed it - I do wish they'd made more of the throw stuff though - I know its a hack'n'slash but when you

              eat the sandwich that makes you power up into a massive bastard and

              are fighting the larger enemies, some power moves wouldn't go amiss.

              I think it is going to have good replay value too - there appears to be a lot more to do than just get the end of the path as it were.

                Has anyone managed to get the Conscientious Objector Achievement yet? if so what is the exact method? I went from the home castle through to the barbarian boss, only using magic. Only time i swung a weapon was to free the first princess. and it didnt give it to me.

                All help appreciated!!

                  I presume the method to do this is via multiplayer, where your buddies do the grunt work, while you just sit back and do sweet F.A.
                  (i think)

                  Though trying to get an online game going these days is pretty hard, since it just keeps dropping me out of games, or i can't find games in the first place.

                  Other than that issue, i am seriously loving Castle Crashers.

                      Me and my brother had that exact same bug aswell, at first I thought he was juggling him in the air after a throw but it turned out he was caught up or something just to the right of the organ.

                      Superb game though, looking forward to future DL content too!

                        When it happened to me he was right in the middle of the playfield, stuck looping in mid air! Anyway as you say, great game all round - and here's looking forward to quality DLC.

                          Was playing this four player multiplayer on Live last night - when it works it is really excellent - however, the maximum period of time we were able to play for without the game crashing back to the title screen was 10 mins - so we gave up in the end and moved onto Texas Hold'em Poker.

                          I hope they sort it out properly with the patch, because as I say - when it works it is top stuff!

                            So anyone heard anything about the patch yet? I was playing single player and beat the organ boss, only for the game to black screen me and nothing to happen. My nav blade was still working fine and I had no option but to come out of the game.

                            The amount of bugs in this is a real slap in the face, even more so because of the higher than normal price point.

                              We just got off the phone with Microsoft and we had a great talk about updating Castle Crashers, YES!! Looks like we’re on our way to getting this title update out and the bigger issues like saving and online connectivity resolved, in addition to other bugs that have been reported. A suggestion for those that might be having some online problems with Quick Match or Custom Match is to possibly try hosting a match instead. Also we’ve been informed that there are some suggestions out there about how to help recover your lost saved data. Again, we’re working on resolving these issues for the update but these might help you in the meantime.
                              We don’t have a specific time frame yet but we have been working on all known issues as soon as they appeared. Our team has gone without rum and biscuits since we became aware of the issues and will continue to deprive our programming team of both sleep and contact with family and friends (they don’t really have friends).
                              I want to take a second and thank everyone who sent in their emails, forum posts, threat letters, etc over the past few days. We’ve read through everything and have been responding to as many issues as we can. We’re directing most of our attention to actually fixing the problems so please be patient if you don’t hear an immediate response. Yay for communication!

                                I haven't come across any single player bugs in the game and i've played it alot.

                                Anyone tried out Insane mode yet? I'm in the middle of it now and jesus, they indeed name the mode correctly. Those little flea like enemies in the forest do pack a wollop. I'm loving it!
