Loving the MGS content. Only done a couple of missions so far, but I'm enjoying it more than LBP itself. Kind of reminds me of old school shooters like Contra and Midnight Resistance. I think this might be the shape of things to come. Bets on we see Killzone and Uncharted DLC next year.

If it sells well, which I can't imagine won't happen then I imagine publishers will be jumping on the chance to do something similar.
It's a really unusual idea though and I'm not sure how it works out with Sony & Konami. Does one of them pay the other to do this? Do they split the profits? If the 3rd party developers aren't paying to be in the game then it's essentially free advertising for their games which is produced by MM so I can't see publishers not wanting to be involved whether it's just costumes & stickers or full levels like this.
It doesn't even have to be games companies who are involved. They could end up with levels from films appearing the same times as the films, sporting events (Could be difficulties with the licensing though), band members & music when a new CD is out, etc.
I really think this is what they mean when they call LBP a platform rather than a game and it's scary how much potential there is there. How long before sponsored levels will be able to add links to their websites via in game hooks?

The actual levels are just under £5, but its the same price for the four costumes too which seems a bit odd.
The levels are deffinitley worth the money as there is a fair few of them and their is alot of new objects to collect, the costumes are not worth it so much.Last edited by rmoxon; 24-12-2008, 18:58.

Though there has been plenty of original content relased so far that could be even better with the gun so its hardly somthing to complain about.
For instance theres an awesome Dead Space level (its called "Little Dead Space" I think) and its pretty amazing, but the creator is making more levels that continue from that one and now we have the Paininator I'm sure that can only mean even better levels (and ones that are even more like the source material) from them.
The slightly too geeky gamer in me is personaly awaiting a Conkers Bad Fur Day level/levels with baited breathe.Last edited by rmoxon; 24-12-2008, 20:24.

you heard it here first: next LBP level pack to include gravity gun tool, headcrab sackboysIt would be PERFECT!
It wouldn't really have to be Portal but having the portal technology as a tool would be brilliant.
