I'm a little way into the fifth event, haven't played for a couple of nights. Seeing as how I don't like moving on until I have all gold I'm not sure I'll ever see the eighth event.

Well I got to Meltdown just to unlock everything so I've gone back now. I think I've only golded the first four sets. Phantom is great fun but I'm rubbish at it and always have been. I just like the fun of it but couldn't possibly hope to do well at Phantom.

It looks like all the scoreboards have been wiped, I just checked and there are only about 30 odd entries globally for most of the venom class races (I guess those are just the times submitted very recently).

I hope they have a way of re-uploading the times we have in our personal scoreboards...

The head dev has said that the records aren't lost and it's part of trying to get these leaderboards working better. They've been overloaded. They're hoping to have it all working the way it should in the next few days, with any previous records intact.

I still suck at this game. But the more i play it, the better i am getting at it. I do love that the airbrakes have sensitivity on the triggers, i'm always adjusting how hard i'm pressing on the turns. This probably doesn't happen on the psp titles right?

Yep, the PSP didn't have that at all. Although I must admit, I'm still pretty much playing this like the PSP games - all or nothing airbrakes. I should probably try to get used to the sensitive buttons as it would likely improve my racing.

Halfway through Speed Freak now, all golds with Feisar. Glad I never swapped teams when I struggled on one of the earlier Time Trials.

I can't put this game down. When I'm not playing it, I'm thinking about playing it.

Noticed something today. Because I'm using an American PS3, and my primary account is American, the game reckons I'm American when playing online, so I get the USA flag by my name! Any way to change this? Obviously if I log in with my UK account, I'd loose my save.

Isn't it possible to save your saves to external media and plop them into another account?

Don't know if it will work in this as some games won't allow it but press triangle on the save and it should allow you to copy it over to the UK ID.

^no go it seems. It does actusally copy, but the game knows the save was created by another user, and wants to make a new one. Ah well.

That's a shame, it seems to be allowed with quite a few games but I think they sometimes want to stop people downloading saves which does sort of make sense.

I think I've hit my limit with Head Rush: I'm able to reach gold and silver for most of the trials, but I cannot get rid of one bronze medal and cannot even complete two of them and I cannot seem to improve with any car, even on time trials on easy tracks. Chengdou Project on anything faster than 2nd class is too much for me, Ubermall has that damned S near its end where I can't really avoid slamming against the walls.

I'm struggling to get gold on my final Speed Freak event. Time Trial on Sol 2 at Rapier Class. I'm just over half a second too slow on my current best and I can see places to improve in my ghost but Sol is a much more demanding course at high speed than it first appears. Some of the bends require much defter control of the airbrakes than any other track.
