This game is passed it, too easy to score, keepers are a complete joke, the online is still laggy ( how the hell they are allowed to get away with advertising online play and then having it so so laggy is beyond me) the list goes on and on.

Konami should be ashamed of themselves for letting such a great game go downhill like it has/is.

I loved pro evo but this is just a complete joke.

I didn't know that the lag was really that bad I had a few good games on Friday night PS3 1 match was a little laggy the other 2 were very good I didn't get on with 2008 and am finding this much better. Konami did however say that the servers are undergoing maintanence until late next week so lets see what happens but I hear you with all their past broken promises.

Will the Jap PS3 version feature a full J-League roster? If so I'll wait for that.

Don`t think they`ll be J League mate . Maybe a seperate vers of the game will be released in the future though. The dates are too close with WE2009 n PES2009 I think for them to add J League sadly.

can anyone get acheivments on 360 yet, ive done all the stuff for at least 3 , but they dont appear? ?

Having problems here too, I'm halfway through the Champions League mode and I still haven't got the 'make your debut in the CL' acheivement yet

That one is supposedly a Be a legend Achievement and not tied to the CL mode

I played the 360 version this weekend, local Coop, and enjoyed it.

If me & a friend want to play together against the Xbox, online Coop, is this possible?

(It said online Coop 2-4 on the box.)

Could we then host the game ourselves, and reduce the lag?

has anyone else got the acheivments gllitch? ive done everthing to unlock around 5 ahceivments but they wont show up, and when go veiw games under pes 2009 it says your acheivments will be listed here? ive won matches off line online, champions league all sorts?

Been playing Legends online. It is top fun (providing you get good connections with other four users). It feels so rewarding when you've taken part in some good build up play ending in a goal. In arcade style the score multiplier racks up as good moves are made and bonuses are added if the play ends up being successful.

It's all good, but I'm failing to see the real aim of the mode other than showing off your offline player as I don't see any experience points coming my way from online matches.

My mate had a really good option file made by a Spanish bloke, I can't find it myself but he said he'll email me the link later so if you don't have one by then I'll post it here.

It had most transfers, kits, badges. Looked really good.

I'm using this one at the moment. Had to import a few images from the provided PHOTO folder that comes with it for away kits and change the odd transfer, but it'll well do for now.

Features full prem and la liga kits and badges.

Logged onto the PES servers this morning to find the following mesages:

2008.10.22 Lobby Capacity Increased
The English lobbies now have an additional capacity for 2000 more players!!
Not only that, lobby capacities for all other regions have also been increased as below!!

English 2000 more
French 1000 more
Spanish 1000 more
German 500 more
Italy 500 more

Why not add further international flavour to "PES 2009"?!!

Konami sound confident about their servers. They've been more hit than miss for me, but I'd still like it to be all hit. Haven't tried them today. Gonna give the game some Legends online action in a bit.

Can anyone confirm if Arsenal's away kit is still the white of last season? or the yellow from the current season? I know its only a small issue, pretty sure I saw someone playing it and they were in white.
Also, are the squads up to date, ie Berbatov at Man Utd and Bentley at Spurs?

Arsenal aren't licensed, so their kits are the same as 2008. White away top with maroon band on chest. If you have/get the PS3 you can enjoy custom made Edit Files such as this one

As for transfers. I know Berbatov didn't make the cut and I'm not sure about Bentley, but I'm guessing he might as he transferred quite early in the summer.

Konami have announced that there's going to be an update the first week of November that's include a roster update, several kit updates and 12 more teams.. along with a new online replay viewer mode called Theatre of Legends or something.

Thanks for letting me know. Crappy though, I know they cant licence the kits, but it surely couldnt have been hard to have implemented a yellow kit??
Just smacks of lazyness!
