Those ****ing asteroids! How did everyone manage this section? And more importantly, what possessed them to destroy all the good that they'd done up until this point, but putting this crap bit in?

I don't know how I did it in the end. I took my time, I know that - tried to slow right down and avoid the urge to fire like mad - and I concentrated on the bigger ones (quick bursts with both barrels for those - you are using both triggers, right?), and the little ones headed more for the center of the screen. I also did quite a few last-split-second saves; the game lets you destroy them even when they're right at the point of contact.

But yes, it was ****. Poorly implemented, ancient old-school bull**** that should have been thrown out at the design stage. The regular shooting is great, even excellent - that bit is anything but.

. On Hard. Only using the Plasma Cutter. And without using Kinesis. Took me about fifteen minutes. I think I'm going to go pass out now. <_<

You can use both triggers for that part? Seriously? Haha, I cleared it using the one. Also, why did you only use the plasma cutter? What was wrong with using kinesis?

Managed to do it just after that post, but Christ that was an annoying section. I was using both triggers, but in the end found it easier to just use one at a time to stop it from overheating.

I just said earlier I couldn't use kinesis. I just found it impossibly clumsy - I like the regular controls, and I don't mind kinesis for simple combat but I hated it in that fight. Couldn't handle it at all.

Or it could be just my reflexes are just not good enough. Although one guy on the Penny Arcade forums did tell me he's even faster on Insane, so eh. Dead either way.

I haven't got very far into Chapter 7 - that'll have to wait 'til after work now - but Christ, they do seem to be throwing more enemies at me.

Bit of a stupid question but those batteries you have to use Kinesis on to socket them into the power plugs don't always go in first time. Is there a definitive way to get them work 100&#37;?

I find if you pick them up, use the force push move when they are in the socket it works every time.

You need to press the Kinesis button again, once it's in the slot.

Riiiight, thanks for the info It's a shame that after all the pixel perfect presentation in the game that it fell short on telling people who to insert those batteries properly.
