I've seen him take multiple rockets to the face whilst being swarmed by Giant Radscorpions and he always seems to come through unscathed.

Maybe I DO have a cheat mode activated?

I can't remember. It probably didn't help that I played a female stealth character, so it's entirely possible I used him as a shield a little too much when the going got tough.

I hope they decide to raise the level cap for the PS3 at some point. Really want to carry on with my character.

i havent played the first addon...or the second....i am still waiting for the patch to increase the level cap before i start with them

I'm still waiting for the inevitable all-three-in-one pack before I consider buying any DLC for this. I'm bloody-well not paying a shade under ?7 a pop for single-quest expansions that last a couple of hours tops!

Yeah, Fawkes rules ... at one point, while under heavy fire, he collapsed, and I was a bit upset that I'd be losing this mega-powerful sidekick. Nevertheless, I went to nick all the weapons and stuff from his lifeless corpse, and just before I did, he got back up! \o/

I seem to have lost Fawkes

I haven't had a message telling he's died but he's not with me any more. One minute he's at my back, the next he's gone.

In better news I seem to be at 18/20 bobbleheads. I never expected to get so many and thought I'd be happy just getting the achievement for 10 but now I'm only 2 short I want them all

He can sometimes be found hanging around outside the entrance to Underworld, in the Museum of History. He can get lost sometimes if you make him wait somewhere and wander off too far, or if you cross an obstacle that requires jumping.

And Fawkes is back. All is well but I imagine having 1 bobblehead remaining is going to tick me off.

I was putting in some major time in this game in the Easter break - Sun was shining and girls were scatily clad, but I soldiered on like a true lil soldier geek (well for one day atleast)

Anyways........ regarding what you guys are talking about with this Fawkes dude - never met him! I currently have 3 peeps who i keep in my house in Megaton/Apartment in Tenpenny Towers.

1 - Dogmeat (useless......... took me ages to find him)
2 - Charon (ok ish but totally useless)
3 - Woman Merc who i found in the national archives building who is on a similar mission to mine in retriving the bill of rights/declaration of independance. Now she is not bad cos you can heal her at any time.......

Is there quite a few peeps you can clique into yah posse in the game? Cos i am getting flashes of a modern day version of Shadowrun when i play this game This SO should have been SHADOWRUN 2!

On a totally side note, the other day I gave the 4 keys to this zombie dude (Mr Crowley i think) in the Underworld and i decided to follow him on a 1 hour journey to some place at the top left hand corner of the map - now this guy is TOUGH! he even regenrates after a while - Although he WAS ripped to shreads by a gang of 6, yes 6 Giant Radscorpions - till i intervened.

Still the beeswax turned on me just as we reached the destination........ Anyone else done this? I had to end his miserable life and take my keys back!

Looked at my timer and it read 100+ hours (but i reckon im more about 130+ hours) given the number or retries and my sudden killing rampages on key characters jus for the hell of it ........

Is it not possible to kill that Dr in Rivet City? Cos ive shot him point blank range about a dozen times and the worst i could do is knock him unconscious for a bit and he gets right back up again.........

Boy am i full of questions today........

My Karma Rating is the 'the last great hope of mankind' so im Uber good - can't wait to meet him! I might get 4 peeps into my posse then Walking around with an entourage is SO much fun, it makes yah feel invincible - even though half of them will prob die during their first ambush.

Sydney is only a temporary follower unfortunately. Once she's completed her mission you'll part ways. BUT, if you play your cards right you can get a pretty cool parting gift from her. It helps to have done the Reilly's Rangers quest for that part. You also get to hear her backstory, which is really sad

Oh and BTW, Mr Crowley is totally playing you, fool! Some of the people he wants you to kill deserve it but others, not so much. I would have killed the bastard after I found out (fortunately I had only killed two of the bad eggs) but if you attack him, the ghouls in Underworld all become hostile to you which wasn't really in fitting with my attempts to spread the love across the capital wasteland

MattyD, I have wasted Mr Crowley, but only when he turned on me. I have not been back to the Underworld since, so does this mean i can't go there no more?

Oh and yes i got a nice departing gift and i even gave her some random recording i found in the wastland which she was greatful for Oh i also went to Underworld to see her and after more banter, she gave me the same gift again lol! VERY HANDY! Might be a glitch, but it was in my favour. Thanks for the info MattyD.

I actually got all 4 keys without killing any of the peeps he wanted seein' to. With a high barter skill, you can persuade anyone really.

I remember being asked by one of Dukovs 'whores' to escort her to Rivet city and i said ok, but forgot about it - now when i go see her, she doesn't ask me no more....... Have you done this? Is it worth the escort?
