Just an idea. Can you install Japanese XBOX 360 games on hard drive on Japanese XBOX 360 then use it on PAL 360 with disc in it.

I play it perfectly well using my standard Hori EX2
No need to shell out for the Gorgeous arcade stick if you dont want to.

I'm off to Vegas on Friday so wont get a chance to test on my brothers machine till after I get back but I'm sure someone else may be able to check.

Would be interesting if it did work though.

Looks like the game has to be run from the console that installed it to the HDD in the first place for it to run.

WTF is this touchpad for though? I figured out the 3 standard gradius style buttons, shot, select and bomb and the pad does the bombs too, is that it? Anyone got an options menu translation?

The touch screen is used to direct the smart bomb instead of using the joystick, if I'm correct.

We should setup a score attack for this as Ive got my JPN machine arriving monday (already got this in cupboard with RIV and Aces).

Ive got an arcade stick so will give that a try see if that works as well when it arrives.

Getting the 1000G made me sick of the sight of it tbh, but I'd love to play it again for highscores. I've probably become quite decent at it thanks to playing hundreds of times for the achievements.

I saw you got the 1000 for this.
I was looking how much I'd have to play for the final 200 and thought "F*ck that!!" You're a more persistant man than me!

Highscores would be cool tho, would get me playing it again.

Can't, comment on the stick, but I got the game for Christmas and think it's superb. I haven't played anything like it since parodius on the snes.

It's quite novel playing a 360 game with zero English. I keep getting achievements without any clue what I have done so I hope someone does a full translation.

Game is well worth the money if quirky jap shooters are your thing. Quite ironic it's on the 360 in that respect.
