For some reason Im having trouble getting the challenge mode to actualy register my combos.

With Ryu/Ken Ive been doing the jumping hard kick, crouching medium kick, Hurricane kick combo no problems when actualy playing the game, but for some reason it says im not doing it right in the challenge mode... dont really get it...

if the pal version plays on a japanese xbox will get that.....if not the ps3 one

Challenge mode is doing my head in too. I'm going through it with Abel and the focus attack dash cancel into crouching HP > then ultra is impossible, he keeps doing the EX version and not the ultra. I changed my god damn LK button to 3x punches like a n00b just to make sure I wasn't going insane and it still comes out with the stupid EX version. *****. Sat here for 2hrs trying to get through it last night before I got ****ed off.

Some of the chain combos using normals seem impossible at times - the timing seems really strict, a very small window of opportunity. I managed to pull some of them off after trying a 100 times. Well, that's what it felt like lol.

Im getting into it now. Ive got so used with playing VF5 to having to input stuff and then one button for majoirty of moves that I ended up mashing on this for awhile. Brain soon started to remember that SF is more about using the buttons in sequence then having to worry about your special moves so much and it works better.

Games 100% region free on 360 as tested the PAL on JPN 360. Im suprised how simlar both versions are. Ive been sat for last hour doing same characters so Ive been sat here with two TE sticks on bed both machines on then doing Blanka on 360 then swapping and doing it on PS3 to start the unlocks across the board. Even with a full install on 360 its nigh on identical loading time to only the 2gig PS3 one their really is nothing in it. 360 is softer with the AA and PS3 version is more focused. I prefer the PS3 sound and its sharper style If I had to judge even though PS3 non scaling at 720p (which makes it even blurrier anyway on 360 upscalling) but your going to be happy with either one as their really is nothing to whinge about on either system.

loving this!.. adrenalin pumping playing online.. even if i'm restricted to using my dual-shock until my fight pad arrives... didn't know about knocking the online challenges popping up midway through a fight... but i'm there now... roll on fight pad arrival then i can let rip with full force

All this rivalry on specs of xbox360 vs ps3 for this game is nonsense just enjoy it all!
Problems i've faced so far is that when doing ranked match on xbox live its hard to find a game since everytime i search the network is zero. best way to join a match is to create one yourself and all i can say about seth is he is some cheap ****.

Eurgh. Had just over 1000 Battle Points about 20 mins ago, now I got just over 700. I feel like going home to be a faimly man.

Loving this, totally reminds me of SF2 but with added kick. Challenge mode was also doing my head in with Ken until I finally pulled off his Super combo! Was worth the wait.

What's annoying me right now is that in Ken's (yes, yes, another one) challenge mode where you have to j.hk to s.hkxxsrkxxsuper. I can do:

j.hk to s.hk fine

s.hkxxsrk fine

srkxxsuper fine (sorta)

And on a rare occasion I managed to chain the entire ground combo.

But I cannot for the life of me pull it all off together XD
