Well its a bit good this isn't it.

Any tips on how to do 2 mid air punches and then 3 head stomps with Chun? I guess its a cancel thing but seems impossible at the moment.

Ha, I just tried that. Lasted about 3 mins before quitting. Let me know if you find out.

You have to jump twice, so time the punches as you're coming down and jump straight up again for the head stomps

          Muahahaha!

Gouken defeated on hardest setting. I nearly failed vs. Seth but finished him with the last hit of an ultra just to take the piss.

I realised tonight I could change the difficulty setting below easy (I only assumed to change it once- never considered that there would be more settings - d'oh) that more or less sorted my seth complaints

I can't tell the difference between easiest and hardest. Apart from Seth fighting back a bit.

If you're having probs still I reckon you should have a few matches online. Even vs. the Ken Horde it'll toughen you up a bit.

Now back to those bastard Trials.
              !!FFS!!

(tomorrow that is) Yum.. protein shake...

Yeah that's the point I'm having issue with. No problem getting the dash in after the FA and then going into the ultra, it's timing the cancel on the dragon punch...

The depth blows my mind. I just don't know if I have the skill anymore, but I will try.

Thats got to be half expected as for a lot of people myself included this is their first SF game. The are just more accessable for novices i think, give it a month and there'll be more variety.

                        Yeah a fair point.

I'm really struggling to do the third level of most of the trials. The window to hit the charge move after the low crouch attack is so small!

                          Your thread updates are great

I'm having a hoot with this. I even laugh at the cheese tactics people use online like coming out of a hurricane kick straight into a throw. Reminds me of the good old days in the arcade.

I noticed people are cheaping the focus attack as well. knock you down go straight into the focus attack which has a tendency of connecting the second you stand up.

Can I just say as well how chuffed I am with my FightStick. I think it will get overlooked with the TE and the problems people are having, but it really is an excellent bit of kit, and has that essentially chunky weight to it. I also keep looking at the lovely artwork. I have yet to have any problems with mine, and the 2nd I o I will be straight online to order some better parts. I recieved an EX2 yesterday as well, and its loads better than that.

I'm starting to wonder if Eurogamer got some form of prototype. For starters I don't understand how one of their rubber feet fell off as mine are screwed on, and looking at the way the artwork is applied I don't see how it would have air bubbles underneath it.

Just out of interest, why does the USB connector come off? there is about 10cm of cable from the USB to this weird connector?

Hats off to anyone who is making decent progress with a standard 360/PS3 pad, especially the 360 one. I tried before receiving my stick and immediately put the game back in the draw.

Wired 360 pads all have this. It's a quick release so if you trip over the cable, it'll come apart rather than pulling the console onto the floor.

For people who cheese focus attack on get up, just do a special that breaks armor (Dragon punch etc), or use quick recovery on forehand and get out.

Can anybody give me any hints for the first hard Zangief trial? It's focus attack -> quick double lariat -> focus cancel -> EX banishing flat. I can do most of it, but I can't get the banishing flat to contact before Dan hits the floor. I'm guessing I need to dash out of the focus cancel, but I still can't see how to get the last attack out in time. Even looking at a video didn't help, as I couldn't really see what was going on at that point.

I wish you could turn on input display in the trials, and that it had a demonstration showing you the timing like in VF.
