Sweet, just got this in the mail. Took only 3 days to get here, much faster than Play's deliveries.

Now, off to fire up the Wii.

Has anyone got to the Duvroc boss battle yet? The cut-scene when you meet him is ace... I love the idea of an Onii tribe who

just sit around on blankets getting merry on booze!

He's a bugger to defeat, though.

But yeah, can't be positive enough about this game. It's epic. Makes me wish that Consolevania was still going...I'd LOVE to hear what they'd have to say about this.

have fun, just be prepared to possibly be a bit underwhelmed/confused at the start, took me a while to feel this and get the hang of what's going on as it doesn't really spoon feed you in.

Where did this game come from? I don't really buy magazines now but it seems like there was no hype then all of a sudden awesome reviews. So strange.

Edge had a big preview a few months back but it did sneak in under the radar.

I've just spent another couple of hours noodling round not really trying to do much other than putting together an elite royal guard posse and taking them out on scouting and treasure hunting missions.

Long time since I've felt so comfy just fiddling round with a game like this, its all rather nice and relaxing.

                I wouldn't call a half page big.

                  There's so much to do!

My kingdom is still less then 20% complete and i've already clocked over twenty hours into this over the past couple of days (lots of late nights! Cannot put it down)...

I'm spending quite a bit of time just exploring and collecting items, esp enjoying hunting out all 100 art pieces. One of the most inspiring fan-services i've seen in a game for a long time

                  - I've also noticed a few pleasant surprises just by following the citizens and watching what they do. The attention to detail in Little King's Story is really quite impressive.

Right, time to get back on it!

My copy still hasn't turned up, I wouldn't have been able to play it but at least I could have read the booklet.

nah, there was a couple of page spread a few months back

my kingdom had just opened up hugely after defeating the first big king and I'm a bit swamped with this big map and loads of sub quests to do.

everytime you play there is something new happening, it drip feeds rewards like the best nintendo first party titles do.

God, attacking and destroying the other Kings after inviting and welcoming me into their kingdom just feels so wrong!

"Love and peace" they say... before i attack them with my little dudes. I'm starting to feel like the bad guy!

                        :-)

                          Bad news guys.....

The game only managed to chart at Wii number 12 and while i am yet to get confirmation have heard that it only made 76 in the all format chart.

Yeah, I read something like that earlier too. Here's hoping word of mouth will help this in the long-term. Still, sadly it's not overly surprising considering not an awful lot was done to spread the word of this game before release... This should have received a much stronger push.

That was actually issue 80 of GamesTM. If it's the feature titled "The King and Us" you're thinking about.

I can't seem to stop sharing my love for this!

Tonight i've been enjoying filling my 'UMA Book' and also finding more sign posts for the 'Wonderful Spot Book' - also using my little kid dudes to climb trees for those pesky hidden pieces of art i've been meaning to pickup. It's actually quite insane how many ideas have been crammed into this title, and it all runs and flows so smoothly and seamlessly with almost zero loading times.

Absolutely chuffed to bits with this game, it's such a great feeling to have a surprise like this come completely out of the blue; i always knew Little King's Story had potential.. but it's proved to be something very special. An instant classic in my eyes.
