Yeah me too, got severely worried when I saw large airplane wings on the map, or thats what it looked like.
Having some great games with this, recently got my "Top of the class" stamp, or whatever it is.
I got the hang of the planes too, which is awesomely satisfying. I even experiement shooting down the three bombing planes and it worked!
Definitely worth a tenner.

Having still not managed once to connect (360 trial version) to EAs servers I decided to take a look on thier forum and on Twitter to see what their take on it is. Apparently I need to check that the following ports are open / not blocked as this is causing issues for a good few people.
TCP Ports: 80, 13020, 18280, 18285
UDP Ports: 53, 3074, 11000-11030, 18285
Can someone please tell me where I find / check such a thing as I ain't got a clue though I can follow (simple!) instuction?

Just do a search for what router you have and then put in the address in a browser and login (all routers are admin 1234 until you change em!). Tick upnp to open the ports and way you go. You can also put exceptions in to keep certain ports always open but vast majority of routers out their upnp will be fine. Ticking upnp usuall sorts strict/moderate nat settings out as well.

Working fine for me today on 360. No problems with connecting, joining games or latency issues. BF1943's twitter says they've got a lot more servers now. I have had those weird graphical glitches from the aircraft carriers on wake island though, as well as some frequent crashes over the weekend.Last edited by Malc; 13-07-2009, 14:30.

I truely appreciate your help matey but in all honesty with my knowledge that may as well be written in Arabic!! I have taken a look at my router and it would seem it's a D Link DIR 301, quite what I do now is beyond me but my friend should be free around half five so I'll just leave it till then.
