That chapter rules them all. Unbelievably good, and good looking.

I never had any glitches, though my housemate managed to charge straight through a wall in the village and had to restart at the last checkpoint.

Anyone played much of the multiplayer yet? I've been having alot of fun with the co-op arena modes even with randoms. There are two gametypes, survival and gold rush, both are 10 round games played against increasingly harder AI opponents (thanks more to their numbers and variations than the actual AI). You only have three attempts to reach the end, if all three players die at any point you start the current round over and lose a chance. This means you all have to be on the ball, covering each others arses, reviving downed players and assisting those that get grabbed.
Failing to finish all 10 rounds nets you miserable rewards, around $500 per round completed. But a successful run seems to net more $$$ than the same amount of time spent on competitive rounds so it's a good way of getting cash for the perks and ranking up.

on the fourth phase of the boss battle
; it reminded me of that scene in the Simpsons where Skinner mercilessly stalks a truant Bart and strides into the river with a stony face.
This mildly amused me until I realised he wasn't coming back up and I'd have to restart whole thing again.

My, it's embarrassing screwing things up for good players. <_< Co-op arena once when I accidentally picked up an RPG in an enclosed space scrambling for a weapon and killed both the others with it (though I did go on to beat three minigunners by myself before the last commando blew my head off), and second when I dropped a grenade in the same room on round 10 and killed the other guy, died myself and left the third to be overwhelmed. >_> Oh, well. Least no shouts of 'fag' thundered out of my speakers.

Finished the single player last night. Lots of superlatives have already been said. I'll just add that it's the finest example of its genre, provided me a near flawless 12 1/2 hours of fun and is my Game Of The Year.
Loved looking at the stats at the end:
Apparently I spent over an hour standing still!
