    I don't have the
problem, for me its trying to evade in the air and turning into

    that chilled out crow.

Can really take the momentum out of an insane fight. Doesn't happen often enough to bug me though, I love that stoned
If I did turn into the
I'd try and string the big claw attack you can do coming out of it into my battle.

I pretty sure you can turn off the Panther like the other special techniques for the battles and then just re-enable it or you could stop spamming the dodge button

Let us know if this can be done.

Spamming the dodge button? Lol! As far as I can tell there is no "block" button, so dodge is the only way not to get hit!

You turn it off in one of the books you collect during the game, I can't remember which off the top of my head, but it is the one where you can check out techniques and special technique. If no one else answers I try and find out tonight.

Don't know if it has been mentioned earlier in the thread but as a quick tip, if you want to practice your combos on the loading screen for longer than it takes to load the level as per the demo, just press back (select on the PS3?) to enter practice mode. You exit it by pressing back again. Handy for getting the timings right.

finished it yesterday on normal, what a game ! I totally love it ! even the end credits are great as well , won't give away anything, but it's worth to see it to the end.
Everything in this game looks like it has been done with a lot of love for the genre, from the start till the end of the game it's all very well done and really work of people loving videogames !
Started on Hard yesterday, and that's quite a big step compared to Normal, I replay all levels again from 1st to last. At the moment I first play a chapter again on normal, (just to see to find all the Alheim (I think I found around 10-15 on my first play) and see if I can get as many as possible on Platinum) and then replay it on Hard..

for me this game is def worth 10/10 , it's the kind of game I was missing since a long time, with this game it's clear there were no publishers telling them what to do, the whole idea is very fresh, I love the over the top fantasy setting of this game, Bayonetta is a great charcter with a lot of personality and the fighting system in the game is totally awesome, it's great for button bashers an great for ueber skilled combo masters (I;m somewhere in the middle..)

great stuff and a game I'm happy to play through more then once !

Don't know if its been posted here bit this vid is so rad, especially the Durga fire bomb set ups. I guess once you know where your enemy is going to end up they become a great source of fun. Gonna start practicing placing one and then pulling an enemy onto it with the whip or throwing them onto it encased in ice.

Nice vid. Some serious skills on display there.

Finally found the time to complete this yesterday and, wow, what a brilliant climax. The final battle is easily one of the craziest, most imaginative sequences I've seen in a videogame. Over recent years I've grown accustomed to being let down by the final level/final battle in most games, but not this time. It really is epic in scale and realisation and a fitting close to a wonderful game.

Nice ending post-battle too, and again, unlike most games, consists of much more than a paltry 30 seconds of FMV. As The Force says, even the credits are well done, very James Bond, very slick. And then the

                    dance scene

after the credits roll is just the icing on the cake and encapsulates what this game is all about - cheek, flair and unbridled confidence.

Started looking for a few missed Alheim portals playing on Very Easy but couldn't find any, not even those I previously found. Do you have to play on Normal for them to appear?

Yes Alheim challenges are only available on Normal difficulty and above.

Ok started playing this its good, but not the emperor's new clothes which everybody thinks. Do you like 2 to 3 minutes of gameplay and some QTE followed by 5 minutes of cutscenes and gumpf you just dont care about, just let me play the bloody game. Anybody feel the same? I know you can skip the cutscenes its just feels so dis-jointed.

Yeah I said the same thing earlier on in the thread. It annoyed me throughout the game but I did actualy find it less agrivating as the game went on, not sure why as the ammount of cutscenes dosent drop or anything.

Its odd really, the gameplay is all about super quick and beautifuly flowing fighting mechanics, so to constantly break it up with cutscenes every 2 minutes seems to go against everything the game is trying to achieve.

I must say, going back and playing the levels and skipping the cutscenes makes the whole thing much more enjoyable, the levels are actualy longer than you think too if you play through them without constant interuption.

I'm not usually a fan of cutscenes but enjoyed Bayonetta's and felt they offered entertaining and timely interludes to the gameplay's unrelenting and crazy pace. I normally like games to have an orderly structure too - something Bayonetta ignores. I dunno what it is about the game, it consists of several ingredients I don't usually like, yet somehow they've been brought together to create a game that amounts to much, much more than the sum of it's parts.

Re cutscenes - press back/select and RT for instant skip, works to speed up Angel Attack too (if like me you just exchange bullets for cash).
