I stepped down to normal so I am going to see how that works out, I actually must say that War is so SLOW. I can see why they added the dash out of combat as well as in it.
The dash dosent actualy speed War up, infact i think it might make him go slightly slower than just running becuase everytime you dash he pauses for a second at the end of it.

He is pretty slow though, its another way they ripped off the 3d Zelda games, though unlike all the other bits of those games that it copies this isnt such a good thing, though it is made alot better once you get your horse.

This is probably true, its also an annoying thing in combat when he stands there waiting to be wacked after a dodge.

I'm not enjoying this yet, when will I start? Enemies veer wildly from pathetically easy to monstrously hard (smashing my health to bits in two attacks, and this is on normal) with nothing in between. And, well, nothing's happening. I just got to some really irritating flying sequence and I can't really be bothered to keep going at the moment.

Oh, and if there's been no people on Earth for 100 years, why is there newspaper blowing around?

Paper lasts 100's of years, you pretty much always see it floating about in post apocalyptic movies.

I also really liked the flying level, ripped off Panzer Dragoon... but Panzer Dragoon is good so not much to complain about really.

You sound even more unfairly harsh than the reviews from Edge and Games tm really... shame on you.

I thought he game really got interesting after the flying bit (I enjoyed what came before too though).

Heh, well, at the moment it's just been dull. I'd happily give the first two hours a six.

If it's going to get better I'm happy to revise my opinion, it just needs to happen quick.

Errr, no it doesn't. Paper in a library in ideal conditions might last a very long time, but paper is made from cellulose and will degrade very quickly if left open to the elements. A flower pressing can last hundreds of years if kept in ideal conditions, but left outside it would barely last a season.

Well luckily it?s just a game and the only reason paper is floating around is to help give a sense of dereliction.

When Radioactive Man got injected with shrinking serum in issue #234...? how come his costume shrinks too?

See, one day you'll learn there are other options than saying 'Oh, well, it's just a game, so lazy, uninspired, poorly thought out world detail doesn't matter. Apocalypse! RAAAAAR!'

Brats is there anything you will not argue with me about?

I'm gonna start saying things like "The Sky is purple all the time" just to see if you come on and argue with me about it.....

Also, the climate during a time of no civilisation would possibley be a very dry one, and if that was the case then paper WOULD last hundreds of years... possibley thousands, if you noticed there isnt any paper flying about near the Drowning Place though, as that has the most life too it. Infact I can only remember some at the Crossroads where it quite clearly was all dead, dusty and dry as can be.

It happens when you get to the first dungeon, which is a fair few hours in (Not sure how many it was exactly). Once you get up to that part and onwards its utterly brilliant IMO.

I think the final nail in the coffin for me was the voidwalker. There'd been "borrowed" ideas all over place but that took it to a new level and actually made me laugh quite loudly. I'll continue to play it through to the end and I'm expecting I'll still have some fun along the way, but it's a real Hollywood blockbuster of a game and feels shallow in many many ways, not to mention sloppy in others.
