Nope - they've said for a while it was always going to be some free, some paid, whether or not you bought a new copy (obviously second-hand owners have to pay something to access all of it in a sense). Kasumi's just the first paid content.

I'd quite like to purchase her, but I'm not fond of how damn short her quest (apparently) is - I quite liked Zaeed, but I'd have been pretty disappointed if I'd paid for him. Not to mention like Zaeed, Kasumi's not a romance option (though supposedly there's an excuse for this in her backstory).

Yes, apparently this new DLC is over in about an hour and doesn't really do anything new. Of course, I've still bought it!

Something that slightly bothers me, even though the DLC is apparently short, what is the point of it? If you've completed the game, getting the new character is just another dead end isn't it?

I picked it up as it's a last goodbye to ME2 for me (and I had exactly 560 points spare). It's phenomonally short, great opening to the mission but descends into warehouse shootouts. Unless you're ME2 obsessed don't bother, Zaeeds mission was better. Still, it gave my Shephard the last push needed to nail *ahem* 2 of her crew

will this and the hover tank missions get me enough xp to reach 30? 27 atm

As they're so short and limited on action I'd say it's possible you might not get to Lvl 28 on them.

I just purchased and finished the new DLC.

Little bit disappointed even for that low price, hoping the free Firewalker one is longer because this paid DLC took me an hour.

I was really enjoying the early sections though in the mansion, then it went all action and it was just like playing the regular game again, which isn't a bad thing but I knew it'd be over soon.

I like the character though, but given that my playthrough is complete and I don't have the time to attempt another, it's a dead end again for me.

I'm at level 26 now with just the new Firewalker content to go, I'm really hoping the next content is substantial, because having played Borderlands a lot recently, I got 10-12 hours out of the "Knoxx" content for 800 points, and this new DLC for Mass Effect 2 doesn't feel very much like value for money.

It's good, don't get me wrong, but very short.

I thought both it and the Firewalker DLC were the very definition of the word `meh`

Kasumi should have been in there from the start (or like Zaeed, released almost the same time as the game came out). As it is she ends up being one of the more likable but criminally underused characters - just like Legion who got lost amongst the wash of characters all vying for screen time.

Firewalker and the Mak... erm, Hammerhead was just disjointed. It had all the stamp of something they'd cut out at an early stage and then decided to throw it back in at the last minute.

Bioware have been bigging up their DLC for this as a bridge between the next game. They're seriously going to have to up their game if they want me to part with any more Points.

Just played the Firewalker DLC now! Wow, and I thought the Kasumi one was short.

Quick question. Does anyone know if a ME1 (Asian version) save game can be used with a PAL ME2?

                        hello

does anyone know if there is likely to be anymore DLC for mass effect 2. I've thoroughly caned all of it and am thinking I might sell it. However if there is a hint of some more sweet spacey goodness I might hang on to it...

^It seems likely, the game's ending was designed with DLC in mind, and it has been a new focus for Bioware. Hopefully we'll see more interesting DLC like Kasumi and the Firewalker pack rather than these costume packs.

Quick question, I've been exploring the galaxy and doing some of the side missions I missed. I've reached Level 30, which is the maximum level. Do I actually continue to gain experience? It says I receive it at the end of the mission, but my character is already maxed level. If thinking I may as well save some side missions just in case they increase the level cap at a later date...

Christina Norman (the lead designer) has tweeted in the last week that there'll be more DLC news soon.

There was a bit of a backlash against the very latest DLC (and rightly so) and they seem to be promising more storyline content soon.

                              oh sweet, nice one

I completed all the sidequests and dlc within my first run through and only made it to level 28 but I guess you meed to start woth a fully maxed out me1 character to hit 30 first go...

what a great game, i've been completely obsessed with it

It seems bizarre that Bioware would think that people are even interested in costume packs for a game that people have already completed.
