I thought the new download content was a bit lame. It just seemed to be added for the people that moaned about the missing Mako. It was way too easy, and no combat once you do get out the vehicle. They give you a new gun, but you don't even get to use it during any of the missions.

On the plus side, it was easy to control.

I'll say one thing though, I'm glad this DLC came out because it's got me playing the game again. I've not touched it since I completed it, but I've been having fun tonight just exploring the galaxy a bit more, getting the remaining upgrades and researches, doing any side-missions I come across etc... just generally mopping things up. The fact that you can continue to play the game post-completion is a stroke of genius (even if it was done to allow for DLC, without it being awkward like it was in the original).

I do hope they do more with the Hammerhead. The missions included in this DLC were mediocre at best, but the Hammerhead craft itself is awesome. I'd pay money for a larger scale, more serious DLC package using the Hammerhead.

There's 5 missions, but you can't really get any significant amount of experience points from them. I completed the game at level 27 too, and have been doing some of the side-missions, and I've yet to even acquire any more skill points.

Right at the very end now and presumably due to my choices

            Jack and Legion are dead

            .

Should have this finished tomorrow with most missions done and, so far, 21hrs on the clock. Personally, I hated ME1 and ME2 is an immense improvement not just on that but on Biowares overrated back catalogue to date, feels like they finally delivered

Just getting back into this after the new DLC, I originally completed it some time ago on the Normal skill level and I'm looking for some advice on what to do with my game now. I'm sure these questions have been answered previously, I have had a brief look but there's over 50 pages to read through.

I'm on level 25 now which is someway below the max that I get everybody up to, when I've found missions on planets they give me EXP but it seems to be minimal amounts? Should I be able to get to level 30 on the hidden missions?

I'm tempted to play through again, how does the game handle this? Does everything just reset or do I keep my equipment?

I can't remember finding any of the game particularly difficult on this play through, how much of a step up is Insanity? I'm not sure I can be bothered doing that if it's just going to get frustrating.

              Thanks.

You really don't wanna play this on insanity unless you are a very patient gamer...

Is it that bad? I don't want to spoil the game by playing through if it's going to be no fun.

Maybe I'll try and make my way through the first game the play through the second with the same character as I lost interest in the first game last time.

I personally wouldn't reccomend it unless you want to ruin the memory of the game.

Finished it now and loved it, not many survived though. I'll do the Kasumi DLC next week and then my file gets left alone till Mass Effect 3

Wow, didn't know there was free DLC for this (been too tied up in BattleField BC2).

Off to download now, any excuse to get back into the world of ME2!

Just finished the Firewalker DLC and it was a bit of a non-event really. Out of the five missions only one contains some action, the rest just require you to gather data or destroy stuff. As someone pointed out earlier, there is literally no new voice acting at all included in any of the missions! I found that to be rather odd as it is something Mass Effect 2 actually does really well. Maybe Bioware wanted to save some money eh?! That being said, I did find the Hammerhead vehicle fun to control and would like to see some "proper" DLC based around it.

Anyway, I look forward to the Kasumi DLC next week and hope that it contains some missions where you actually do something other than collect stuff.

Decided to start ME2 again as my options to play through the first one were limited by the fact that I'd forgotten I'd traded the game in.

I didn't realise that things such as levels and upgrades stayed with the character if you start again so that was a nice surprise. It's a shame that my Paragon/Renegade rating has been rest though as I was close to 100% Paragon last time.

Does anybody know if it's possible to fill out both of them in one game? Unless I was doing something wring there just doesn't seem to be the option to do that.

I'm enjoying it more this time now I've got some sort of an idea what I'm doing which I didn't last time I played.

Is there anywhere that I could catch up on the story in the first game to give this play through some context?

IGN did a short video summing up Mass Effect 1 just before the ME2 launch that's worth a watch if you can find it

Thanks, I've had a look at that now and I'd also forgotten that I'd bought the ME2 Collector's Edition Guide which goes over the story too.

Has anybody managed to get the Tactician (Hit 20 different targets with multiple biotic powers to combine the effects) achievement? It doesn't seem to matter what I try to do as I just haven't managed to even do it once let alone the 20 needed.

                                Any hints?
