I echo everyones statements. Absolutly superb, i'm almost 10 hours and i only just recruited my first person!

The sheer detail in the world, for example the floors and lighting in the clubs. The amount of dirt ware and tear in the environment is extroadinary, the sound is amazing too. The audio on the music in the clubs is astounding, it really does sound like your in a club. It has that ambience you know what i'm saying!

I've just finished Horizon and all that's going through my mind as I head for bed is that this game really is something rather special isn't it?

Yeah there's some great music in this game (as game music goes). But god I'm tired of the same old film-score bombast. They should have gotten the Future Sound of London in for that last boss battle... (We Have Explosive?)

love interest in the first game, and it was odd the way she kissed me when we met, but then it was kinda down to business

and it felt a little strange.

Completed two of the "loyalty" missions and I really enjoyed both, got another 2 to do already, many side quests and not even found all my crew yet! Not found a single planet scanning mission yet either.

Also, am I missing something but how the hell do you find more element zero? I've found masses of all the other elements, but I've had about 2500 element zero TOTAL in the 10 hours I've played, whereas I've had about 30,000-40,000 of the rest!

The disc change caught me by surprise too. It certainly didn't fit in with what they were saying about when it happens

I think Element Zero is in short supply on planet scans - I've scanned a load for resources and only found one deposit. Most of mine has come from refined stashes found during missions.

I've found a couple of planets rich in Element Zero but it's certainly the rarest element. As Spatial says it's mostly found on missions.

I want to play the game right now, but sadly I need to go outside. Damnit.

started playing at 7pm last night before i knew it it was 1 am, its that kind of game and i would have been happy to carry on, only thing im not happy with is that fact i have collectors edition rifle and armour and my vangaurd class cant use the gun :P ever or atm?

I'm not sure if it's mission specific or because I'd hit a certain level mid-mission, but I was around level 12/13 when it happened.

Anyway, one of the best games I've had the good fortune to be able to play in my life. ME2 is a staggering achievement. If only because it makes its "sci-fi" so believeable. Why then does Dragon Age come across so depressingly, excruciatingly generic?

do the citedal and omega shops restock? is there anywhere else to buy stuff?

Found myself wondering this whilst playing this morning. It's odd that there are so few armour upgrades to buy - I'm not expecting whole new armours like the DLC (especially as I'm a fan of the N7 armour) but the number off add ons does seem very limited.

I think it's more planet specific, the planet I had to change discs for had/has a lot of missions on it, 2 recruitments, a "loyalty" quest etc and assorted other mini-quests you find when looking around.

I'm actually wondering if I'm gonna have to change discs if I decide to go back to Omega, or my first venture to the Citidel this time around!

Oh by the way, if anyone was ever in any doubt about installing games to HDD this is proof. I'd been playing from disc previously and when I got around to installing it (20 odd minutes sitting there swearing at the console, I WANT TO PLAY NOW DAMNIT!!!) the load times were incredible compared to just off the disc. Especially on the Normandy, I actually couldn't beileve the difference.

I was reading Jeff Gerstmanns twitter and he summed it up nicely, "2 discs to install, 40 minutes later, all the DLC downloaded I can finally play this game!". At the time I hadn't yet downloaded Zaeed or used the Cerberus network, when all was said and done it must have been 40 minutes of waiting just to play the game!

You do realise that this game is around 12GB? I'm willing to bet a large part of that is textures and sound files. A LOT of audio, especially speech.

I do realise that indeed, I'm still startled at how differently the game runs from the disc compared to when it's installed to the HDD.

It's one of the longest installations I've witnessed as well, most games don't take long but the 2 discs seemed to take an eternity.

I can't say I care how long a game takes to install, i'll either go and do something else while it's installing or just play the game off the disc then install it after I've finished playing.

Totally addicted to this now I've been working all weekend but still have somehow managed to find 14hrs to put into it! I wanted to watch the football earlier but really wanted to play this so I ended up using Sky Player on my laptop for the first time ever just so I could play some more

where do you get the extra skill perk? can it be used to add assault rifles for a vangaurd?

It becomes a research file after finishing a loyalty mission. You can only add loyalty skills to your character.

You can add a weapon skill to your character sometime during the story.

Has anyone had sound glitches? I was fighting a gunship yesterday and the rockets made no noise on impact, on top of that, during Samara's loyalty mission where

she fights her daughter and you have to choose who to kill

, everything went flat. I had to finish the mission up to get the sound back.
