I don't get any of those options and LB does nothing for me Oh well I have posted on the official forum.

I can also send friend challenges to people who aren't even my friend. Go figure.

I am enjoying this game though, despite this as its hardly a deal breaker. Trying to navigate the menus in split second gives me a headache after playing Blur.

Had some absolutely bonkers multiplayer games last night. Good fun.

We need to get more people buying this. I feel really sorry for BC, they have created some of the best racers of the last few years, but their games always undersell for one reason or another. I fear the Game/Gamestation issue with Activision hasn't helped.

Everyone I've played with online has gone bananas for this game. Over at RLLMUK they are going ape for it. It's such a great game, it deserves some major word of mouth sales.

So everyone just rams into the corner rails and rides them around... bit weird

I sooo wish there is a bit more skillful driving in this (i'm not asking Forza like proportions) but the online races i've been in, it seems that wall riding is pretty much the order of the day, as there doesn't seem to be that much of a penalty for it.
I try my best to use the slide or brake > drift on sharpish corners, but i dunno maybe i'm doing it wrong or going too slow, but when a guy that was nowhere near me, hurtles past and decides to use the railing to guide himslef and corner quicker than me I just shrug :/

I think there's one way people circumvent this. I was in a lobby earlier where you can start off in the 'Learner' lobby, say for example lvl 9, but as you rank up past lvl 10 (which is the maximum level cap) you essentially stay in the lobby until you leave.

Thats true. I left when I was Level 11, and the newbie lobby had since disappeared from my menu. Skirmish is now the lowest one I can choose.

By the way, I have NAT Type 2 on PS3 (as I use a Router), but Blur says its Moderate and advises me to get it to Open. Is this normal or is there a workaround?

I find wall riding does slow the car down a lot and the races I win I tend to stick to the racing line. The one exception is if you have a shield, where bouncing off the walls doesn't slow you down at all so maybe the players who are zooming past you have a shield activated?

The best way to take a sharp corner is using the nitro as an airbrake.

Hmm, I just Type 1'd my wireless router connection (by degrading the modem to Bridge) and NAT is Open now.

Also, this game seems to freeze a lot in the lobby if more than 10 people are connected. Its certainly not just me as a massive host migration starts before it, then some people disconnect and ultimately it locks up. Happened about 4 times now.

I just tried to share on my fb but theres no longer an option for it! It's dissappeared. All i get to pick is xbox live message, which is weird as it was working the other day. O_o Maybe its something to do with Blur server side.

Started this up yesterday and unless it was just odd timing it seems to be very quiet online (PS3). That said, the Game/Gamestation boycott can't be helping much.

That said, it found a race easy enough and I typically came between 1-4th place. Can't believe (coming off Modnation and Split) how balanced this feels, with the offensive/defensive racing being the first time I can think of that truly works. I've been out in front, hit by 2-3 shots and still been in front! Racing skill definately has it's uses here rather than mis-balanced weaponry. I've only just started sp so hopefully rubber banding doesn't rear it's head because here on I don't have time for games that use that lazy method.

My friend had the same problem, he changed his Xbox live privacy setting and back from friends only to normal and now it works fine.

played ofline single player for the first hour or so on this.

on the plus side love the racing and handling, feels brilliant, weapons are varied & balanced and it all hangs together really well. doesn't feel cheap but there is a nice challenge and its all very frantic.

on the down side I simply don't feel the racing sits with the art style or feel at all, its sort of trying to be all urban and cool and it just feels wrong to me somehow.

game is also a bit ugly to look at in terms of track and car detail so can see why somebody would avoid it goign on screen shots.

that said I think its a much better racer than Split Second and can see me getting lots of enjoyment out of it, just feels a really confused product though and can see why it may fail to find an audience, which is a shame as the hard bit, the actual game itself, is damn solid.

It might've been already mentioned, but has anyone seen the TV advert for this game? It's mildly amusing.

So is the handling fixed since the demo?

                              Did it need fixing?

Just incase those who have missed it. If anyone doesn't mind, if you are playing the 360 version post your gamertags in that thread. Don't have anyone except booyabase playing it in my friendslist.

                                Thanks
