Played a few games of Online Master League. Very impressed so far. You get a great sense of team growth. You start with the usual suspects in your side (Minanda, Castolo, Espimas etc). You also have ?500,000, which can buy you more default ML-like player if you like, but of course, it's better to save up.

I really miss this.

It's not healthy juggling two footy games).

But I don't think I can do this.

Still doing ML online. It's going to take some saving up to start getting anyone of any real quality. Thankfully, you can play your matches in Coach mode. As tactical setting a re quite deep in PES, this is a great little way to keep your team playing matches and earn cash when you may not have time to be at your console for massive sessions.

Just make sure you set your Online Settings to 'Play teams of Similar Level' (off by default).

Close to making my first signing now. I think I'm going for Endo.

Also, still really impressed with the online performance as amazingly I've seen no lag!

Absolutely loving this! Much prefering it to FIFA '11.

Played a few games with Volition from these forums and he prefers this too. It's simply a more fun game to play.

I like the simpler menus compared to EA's overly complicated and sluggish set-up and the shots in this really fizz toward goal and we've had plenty of tense matches.

I haven't even bothered to try and get the dribbling system down yet. It's all about getting the new passing and defending systems down for now. It's gonna be a fairly long process

Big fifa fan. But I bought every PES so far, but I've been getting tired of the last few. Is online ok? Reading through Rllmuk, the impressions don't sound positive as they do on here.

I'm honestly loving it. I won't just saying that in the name of fanboy-ism. Yes, it's been gash in the past, but so far, I'm loving it. If you saw potential in the demo and ended up loving it, then you should get it. The online (PS3) as been flawless for me so far. Played about 20 games in ML online.

You say you're a FIFA fan though, so shouldn't that be enough?

Yeah, but I'm a sucker for every football game. As long as the online works, I'd buy this. Have no interest in the offline stuff. I just don't want an half arsed online like previous occasions and Konami failing to fix it.

That's just overall scores though, they can be misleading. Honda is 'only' 70 but most of his stats are 80+ or high 70's.

Master League Online is officially screwed. Get a game called off in a competition by scoring 3 own goals gives you around £70k in about 2 minutes, every other c*** is doing it.

That's been all the rage on various PES forums lol. I've yet to touch Master League Online.

I reckon Honda's overall stat would be higher if his role was changed to his more regular position i.e AMF or SS.

Played about 15 games in Online Master League on this now and, said in my best Kevin Keegan voice, i'm absolutely LOVING it. Highlight so far would be playing some chap in a higher division who had a Spurs side with the likes of Defoe, Huddlestone, Bentley, Gilberto Silva(!) and crushing him 5-0 with my all but 3 players default team, including a 30yd Aimar free kick

Sure, it's still got a few niggles here and there control wise but i am really beginning to think this is a WE6/WE10 beater. And just as I was about to lose the faith in PES completely...

Yeah bad news. This is being reported to Konami by WENB/PES Fan and the likes. Hopefully those who have recorded a lot of cancelled matches due to own goal abuse will be reset and the problem fixed.

I'll keep playing though, as it's a friggin grind to build up the money. Beating a team of good players controlled by a cheat will be satisfying.

Thanks mr sockochris. Like you say it does seem rather low. I was just interested on how they rate Japan as they always seem to put hem quite low.
