Found a couple of decent bargains in the used car showroom. The first was an Altezza (Lexus IS200) Touring Car which was 24K I think. Fully tuned it had 399HP. Nice car, probably a bit limited in its applications. The second car was the Tommykaira ZZII. This was 54K but had the potential to mix it with some of the full race models as it had adjustable aerodynamics. It managed some of the 5 race series with ease. Even in standard tune it would have probably done well. I tuned it a little and made good use of the Turbo High Speed Ring race to make some money. 36K for three and a quarter minutes racing. It was exceeding 200 mph on the fast section.

I now have a problem in that the last events outstanding in the foruth series need race cars and I need to get some serious money to be able to afford them... yawn!

Still can only manage a bronze in that Camper Van race. I have yet to try to revisit the S-8 Suzuka test.

Used a tune R8 5.2 on the first of the top series of events. Added a rear wing which helped.

Are all cars in the used dealership just standards or do premiums sometimes go in there?

There is a little 'S' or 'P' under the square which shows you the car's colour on the used listing screen.

I've just been trying the Nordschliefe special event (first part). I'm still 5 seconds shy of the gold time, but frustratingly it doesn't show you a ghost of your best time (presumably cos it's not a full lap) which means you have to be some kind of genius to figure out where you are losing time ><

Kind of a moot point as I am most likely losing time EVERYWHERE, but still...

If you record a time it practice for that track, save the ghost then you might be able to see where you're going wrong.

I haven't checked thoroughly but I don't think you can unlock that track until after you do these events, so no chance of doing practise laps.

A mild annoyance is people who post videos of themselves getting golds... using the TV camera view. THAT DOESN'T HELP! I wish they'd upload them using in-car view (assuming this is even possible?).

What does "Share with friends" do, when viewing your car? It adds it to my profile where people can see it but, is that all they can do? or can they use it somehow...?

Been playig online with a friend all night. Great fun. We ended up spending 2 hours driving round Chamonix trying to lap faster than each other. Reminded me of my snes mario kart days. Pure fun.
