Argh... I just used my Veyron in B-Spec and now cannot change the tyres on it. Some "genius" obviously made a huge mistake there. This is apparently a known bug. I presume no one knows of a get around for it? 6 years and still the game was rushed out (in time for Christmas I suspect). I thought PD were perfectionists... I was obviously mistaken.

You would have though patching that "minor" problem would be something of a priority!

Edit... My mistake (sort of)... you would expect tyre choice to be under Tuning. Wrong... tyre choice is under Driving Options. Found out by accident when having another look. I still reckon it should (also) be under Tuning so as not to catch out the unwary!

any chance to get rid of it? does it help to reduce output resolution to 720p?

This may be dumb, but I don't know how to start the B spec part of the game.
I created a driver, then tried to click a competition to enter the the amateur races, but every time it says you need more drivers before you can comepete...

So, I go back to the create a driver, and I can't find the option to add more drivers. Am I missing something?

Are you including yourself as the driver? You need to choose Driver List (helmet icon) option from the menu on the left and create as second driver (including your own).

How do you uninstall parts that you've added to a car? I've inadvertently overpowered my Impreza for the cup and need to strip some bits to make the restriction.

Go to your Garage, select your car and then choose Tuning. There you can switch back to default or other lower spec parts you bought.

Use the tick boxes.

The game is currently in "Annoyance Mode"! I have been waiting (for ages) for a decent LM car to turn up in the Used Car Dealer. I tried the Rally Special Event at Beginner Level (finally) and returned to the main screen and went into the Used Car Dealer. There was the Jaguar LM there... in the last slot. Unfortunately it is 122K more that I currently have and if I race to get more money I lose it.

What "genius" thought that putting LM cars in the Used Dealer was a fun idea so that they can disappear before you have the money to buy them.

I know they are Standard cars, but there must have been a way to stop the game being so aggravating. At times like this I almost feel like giving up on the game as occasionally the frustrations outweigh the "good bits". I would have said fun, but to be honest the game at the moment is a bit of a grind getting money together. At least the grinding got my driver to Lv 24. I'll probably get to Lv 25 before seeing another decent LM car (150K Xp to the next level)!

I hate standards etc, but this randomness IS a good incentive to trade cars with other people. And probably the meaning behind it all.

I did it a few times, and its fairly fun.

On the whole this game is nothing more than an ordinairy grind. But we knew that, probably. Next to cash however, you also need to grind exp now.

After plumping for the closest thing to my own car (Renault Megane) I've managed to have quite a few races and cups in a row that it meets the specs for and can win pretty comfortably and the game has recovered a lot of its fun points. I think it's got one more race in it and though it's got room for tuning and upgrading I'm going to follow suggestions and return to the beginners category but buy myself an 07' GTR to mop up some of the other races.

Why don't you just sell a car or two to get the cash to buy the lm car.

Managed to gold the second lot of Nascar challenges. I'm actually really enjoying the Nascar. What else can I do with the Nascar stuff? I mean, is there like a Nascar season or anything like that available? If there's nothing much more available on Nascar I'd be tempted to buy the actual nascar game in fact.
