i am still a bit torn if to get this or not compared to the previous games is there much actually added or is it really just a better looking GT game and thats it

for people who have both which would be the best buy this of forza 3 ?

Well Forza has a lot of tuning options, you can really personalise your car and you can really feel the difference with the smallest mods. GT5 has more cars in a race which is always better and it seems, a better selection of tracks.

I don't think there really is an answer.

Forza 3 is pretty cheap so both lol. I always felt Forza 3 to be a bit naff though, much prefer Forza 2.

If your a car fan then both, GT has the better car list, plus weather, night time but Forza 3 is better online and has better car upgrades.

Karting, Nascar, Online multiplayer, make your own tracks, proceduraly generated rally courses, dynamic weather and day/night transitions, damage modeling.

How much more stuff did you want?

It's not without its problems by the sound of things but it sounds like they've done more than just a graphical overhaul.

Try tell that to Border, Greddy, Mines and so on who have built almost supercars from stock Japanese motors.

(Though to be fair some of the tuning parts in Forza are a little americanised and a bit tacky)

will pick up mine tonight - looks like loads packed into the game, so i'm happy :-) it looks great and 7.1 sound too! Shame about the congo AI though; i would have thought this would have been a priority....

what the craic about the damage model having to be unlocked?

Seems that to avoid noobs writing their car off in the first 30 seconds they gradually introduce more and more damage. Makes sense in a way. A very odd way.

What is the point in being able to go 1.000BHP fast if you can't improve your stopping power?

This has actually dampened my enthusiam.
