    I noticed that at the time, so went back and started one race before when I finished it off. Luckily for me I had stopped after Monza (the easiest I reckon) so it wasn't too bad to repeat.

      Fear that license test a-8 has beat me (the Schumacher S). Just can't get the time of 13.800 at all. Had a best 13.831 and thought that was a flawless run through the bend. Not sure howto make up the difference.

      Can't believe I'm failing a lv.3 event. XD

        Man, the M3 GTR feels like its being made for the Nordschleife. Its perfect. I'm farming the DTM race with it.

        Also received a 787b yesterday. Its great as its a premium race car, but I try to make Indy 500 challenging and I just fail in doing so. I always lap them after some 15 laps or so. Even though my car isn't the best in the field, I use no assists, racing hard tyres etc. The AI is just crap. Maybe I should try the Corvette.

          I had previously Bronzed that A-8 test. Spent about 20 minutes on it just now and was eventually able to record a 13.726! I think it is all down to how you hit that rumble strip on the right side of the track. I did save my replay so I could if necessary try to record it to upload to Youtube.

            i saved my replay of A-8 too. i must have spent about 2 hours on that over a few days. I eventually did it with all assists off and no traction control.
            when i watched it back i was surprised to see i clipped the gravel a touch on the exit, as i thought that even a tiny touch would slow me down too much for gold.

            still if you're getting 13.831, you just have to do it a million times and hope that you sneak in.

              Thanks to Bassman I finally had the Alfa I was missing and finished off the touring cars on A and B spec. And then finished off the vintage race on monaco with the Chap.

                Is that touring car essential then? There is one in the online dealership and I'm wondering if I should buy it before it gets replaced. Incidentally how often do they change the list? It's been different nearly every time I've looked at it.

                  The Alfa is one of the few 4WD Touring Cars and does seem to be pretty rare. I can send a duplicate out after midnight tonight (I was getting my NASCAR Camry onto each account for the 'Ring earlier today).

                  Six different cars appear in the UCD every game day (so 5 days worth in total there). So after every race, license test or whatever, 6 cars are added and 6 removed.

                  I decided to create a B spec driver on my latest account (the one with the Shelby GT350R) and chose a Rock legend as I could not be bothered to scroll through any more names.

                  As long as he doesn't give me the Summertime Blues with his driving (or Winter time for that matter) I will be happy!

                  Did the NASCAR Seasonal on there and instantly went to Lv 16!

                    Would someone be prepared to lend me a car thats capable of doing the Historic Racing Car Cup? I think I am on the brink of grinding my dual shock into atomic dust.

                      I have one free send slot on a secondary Account with a selection of Historics. Do you have a preference? You can keep the car as I will do the "unthinkable" and duplicate it! I have the 330 P4 (I found it OK for A spec) and the 2J (Bob seemed to do better with it). Send a Friend Request to my main PSN and I will sort you out!!

                          Sorry, I just checked and the selection for sending this side of midnight (from my one "free" account) is a little limited... Chaparral 2J or '69 Ford GT40 (not powerful enough for event).

                          I need to keep my main account clear as I was buying cars to check on HP with Oil and with an Overhaul for different mileages that I did not want to save and was gifted a car while I was doinf it. It is currently on a backed up save on an SD card to rescue after midnight! I'll send it to another account and then send it back.

                          I do have another account with a decent selection of Historics that can send after midnight. There is the GT40 '69, Chaparral 2D and 2J, Jaguar XJ13, Ford GT Mk IV, Ferrari 330 P4 and '67 Muira. Yes I did make a little use of the Birthdat Exploit before it was restricted somewhat. If you are happy to wait I can send the XJ13 after midnight. I have used one in the Extreme Euro Rome race with just some decent tyres and it drives very nicely. You can have a 2J now and the XJ13 later if that is any good?

                            Sorry Bassman I was talking about the online dealership, not the used cars. The Alfa touring car is in there at the moment and presumably will be until someone at PDI decides to change it. I was just wondering when that might be.

                            I'm on course to have a selection of teeny-bopper idols in my B-spec team, they don't really count as musicians though so E Cochran wouldn't be happy there. I've got J. Donovan & W. Young (but both will be sacked eventually!)

                                I like my Alfas so I've used them for most of the races I can. I dare say others would be fine
