Finished this last night (just in time for Portal 2) holy crap it was insane.
Played with my headphone on and there were some oustanding moments in this game

Time Square and Central Station jump out for SERIOUSLY looking insane on a home console. The lighting on some levels were just

I have been seriously impressed by this, it was a substantial size of game which took me about 10 hours to complete. I didn't find all of the hidden emails and stuff so I will go back through for a scan. If I was to pick a bad point the story wasn't a strong as the action pushing it through, lots of people seemed to be moaning about the ending but I quite liked the scene at the end.
It's on the GOTY list if not at the top although we have long way to go, some awesome games coming in-between.

Started this tonight and I'm mighty impressed. The visuals are amazing and the surround sound audio is so life like. At one point I was lost in the game until the bloody wife came in to my games room talking crap and blew the whole fantasy

I did find a pretty ****ty glitch though (360 version) At the point were you see the guy and woman having an argument just before the board the helicopter. Well, after they bugger off the game starts back up but I had no weapons, no hands, no body, no nothing. All I had was the HUD. The guns didn't even work when I pressed the button so it wasn't just a case of missing polygons. A very strange bug. Once I died though it fixed it's self.

I had that exact same glitch happen but later on in the game after a different cutscene (so it may happen to you again). However all I did to correct it was press Y to change weapon and it appeared back onscreen.

I tried that but no luck. I had to get myself killed. I couldn't even hit anyone

The game is buggy. I've had my nano-points go into minus figures at least twice. No probs now as I have all of the upgrades but during my first play through, it was infuriating to say the least as I had to go and collect the pixie dust once again.

I have finished this and it is one of the best FPS single player campaigns I have ever played. I love the 'approach the situation your way' feel to the game. Hmmm Yes I will put C4 onto a car then kick it into a crowd of bad guys and detonate it! Put an assault attachment onto my gun and weaken the posse, then run in with power armour and a reflex sight to mop up!

I started playing again in super solider mode and got through 6 stages. Had to give the game back to my mate then! I found myself using the shotgun a lot more in Super solider compared to veteran. I had no idea what the hell was going on story wise though! Hmmmm bullet storm next I think!

EDIT: Someone try and put C4 onto a bad guy, grip them by the throat and launch then into a crowd then detonate! I forgot to try that one!

Haha, love this game. Just throwing a barrel in the air and shooting it in a crowd of enemies is just priceless. Amazing game!

Wow what a game (after the poor demo) , The visuals are the best I've seen on the 360 and the lighting is just stunning . Shame the bug and sometimes poor AI lets down an otherwise technical showpiece game, but that's just nick picking for a game that looks stunning and is so much fun to play (and that's all that counts)

Finished on PC yesterday. Quite a large game, it took 13 hours for me (Not rushing). The end few levels remind me of every Crytek game, where you get uber loads of hardass aliens to stealth/kill. I have to be honest the earlier levels against humans are more to my liking.

None the less, an excellent shooter & well worth every FPS fan's time.

Just started this now after having it sitting there for a couple of weeks in my in-tray.

My only question is with the frame-rate (360 version), does it improve at all by installing to the HDD? I've had several instances of it dropping off majorly in firefights but I'm just running from the disc.

I'd always recommend installing a game to HDD, but I dont think it will make much of a difference in Crysis's case.

I wouldnt think it would make a difference to the frame rate however I played it while it was installed and I didnt notice any noticable drops in framerate at all, so maybe it did help.

Cheers guys, I guess it wouldnt hurt to just do it and compare.
