I've played a bit of this over the past couple of days and have just reached the Temple of Time.
The only way I can describe how I feel about this version so far is:

Best. Handheld Game. Ever.*
It's also reminded me how awesome the 3DS screen is after a bit of downtime. The glittering dust floating lazily in the air, Navi's trail, all-important depth perception when it comes to combat; the 3D is often spectacular, and it features more "in front" of screen stuff than anything else on 3DS so far. There's some pretty impressive spacial depth to the audio from those speakers too.
God, I hope Nintendo can up the frequency of must-have 3DS releases so that I don't end up forgetting again how great the device is any time soon.
