Whats this update 1.01 for?
Edit: That Sony Simulview TV it seems...
Edit 2: Rather than bump this I though I'd just add that I have now finished the game and whilst it was certainly worth playing and enjoyable, the final few chapters reflected my previous comments - more gunfights, no puzzles and a few small jumping around bits. To my mind the story ended a little abruptly too: the whole
"the water is spiked"
seemed a bit lazy and
Drake didn't seem particularly surprised to see Sully wasn't really dead.
Also, no
mutants/supernatural stuff this time round
?
Oh and I remembered something else that was peeing me off - sometimes I can press triangle and chuck back grenades, other times the option just does not appear.Last edited by koopatroopa90; 09-11-2011, 23:14.

This game feels like its been done by a different dev...Its uncharted but there's just so many little things that just aren't right. The combat, the aimimg, the movement, the camera, the collisions all just feel a bit off compared to uncharted 2
I starting to convince myself this has been done by naughty dogs B team while the A team is on something new. Either that or this game could have done with another 6 month polish
Its in no way a bad game but its not the dizzy heights of uncharted 2 for, which just makes it disappointing.

Completed it on Hard last night, with an overall time of just over 10 hours. I think Uncharted 2 took me about 12 hours on Normal if I recall correctly but I wouldn't class Uncharted 3 as short.
The Chateau escape, Capsizing ship & Inferno plane were standout sections but there were so many other well done moments.
Overall it is my favourite game of the year so far, just pipping Portal 2 & the Ico/SotC collection but I've yet to get stuck in to Batman/Battlefield/CoD & the years other notable releases - not getting Skyrim, I just won't ever have the time to play it. At no point was I frustrated with the aiming or think it a hinderance but I can see why it bothered some - definitely the movement is off somewhat. When I tested it after reading all the posts about it, it was clear I could move Up/Left & Down/Right without issue but Up/Right & Down/Left were slow to react & that was without firing or anything so, recoil wasn't a factor. That said, I genuinely didn't have a problem getting through the game. Sure I died a fair bit in the big shoot_outs but I expected that as I was playing on Hard but it was never so frequent that it was frustrating. If anything, I honestly thought I was getting headshots from distance much easier in the second half of the game - probably just the case that there was so many more enemies, I was bound to noticeable rack up more of them. Still a 10/10 for me. Loved it. Can't wait for Uncharted on Vita.Last edited by Mr M0by; 13-11-2011, 19:42.

This is a quality title. I just can't believe how good the visuals are, but somehow I feel a bit more detatched from Drake, than I did in UC2. I can't quite explain it, but it feels more film than game.
I want to be careful not to sound overly critical, this is awesome, but there is something I can't put my finger on, almost feel like I am being pushed down a route and even though that is normal for this sort of game, the ilusion of choice is a bit lacking. Feels more like I am watching a film, rather than beating a game. (If that makes any sense at all!)
Visually I am amazed, how they managed this on PS3 is incredible!
