Well it beats the usual standard rpg fare without stunning visuals I guess. Most games are just tired versions of what has gone before anyway. At least this one has something of interest about it.

It looks like a Ghibli movie. People are interested because of this.

Its just a shame it plays like a generic dog, dull as.... all of the imagination went on the graphics that's for sure. It's just Dark Cloud reskinned with pretty Ghibli graphics.

Anyways mine has now been sold so ill get out of this thread and back to playing Mass Effect 2

I must be playing a different game... I've been loving it. You're the first person I've heard be even slightly negative about it to be honest, everyone else that's negative that I've seen just seems to say it gets unfairly hard at times. I'm playing it at the same time as Persona 4, and I'm not finding it dull compared to that at all. Although Persona 4 is probably a better game. Even if the gameplay was sh*te, which I don't think it is, Drippy is amazing to listen to, I'd play just for his cutscenes

But, to each their own I guess.

Delightful game, what's not to like? Even the Welsh accent of Drippy works.

                Drippy is fantastic.

This game just keeps getting better. It's just absolubtley magical. Playing it gives me the kind of feeling of wonderment that JRPG's use to bring but don't very much anymore.

If he thought it played like Dark cloud I'm guessing he didn't get very far.

Yes absolutely - not since Lost Odyssey has a JRPG gelled so well. It'd be criminal not to try this if you're a JRPG fan. It has the usual foibles, but the game is charming. The visuals are just the icing on the cake.

You completely missed the point as per usual. Dark Cloud could have been substituted to Random RPG X. Anyways I was not planning on reposting in here but you just can't let things be can you.. So ill leave that one up to me (Clicks rmoxon - Ignore, feels better)

I disagree that Persona 3 was generic.

I wrote a long boring reply above MrKirov's post (Not to MrKirov), I deleted it as it wouldn't matter as there is no point arguing with idiots. They beat you down to their level then beat you with experience.

This bit was cut out. Persona 3 isn't generic its great

Umm. No, I understood your point perfectly.... as you can see bellow you said the game was a reskinned Dark Cloud (which was a weird statement because the only thing that the game shares with Dark Cloud are its cell shaded looks).

And no, I don't just "let things be". Wouldn't be much point in posting in forums if I disapeared halfway through a discussion never to return to the thread.
