The test of wits. Otherwise known as randomly moving stuff around until it ends up in the position the game wanted you to put it in. Or get a hint - otherwise known as tell me exactly what to do in no uncertain terms. Seriously, do they really think people want to do this stuff? There is no wits involved.

    Still loving it mind.
The puzzles that have been driving me mad are the book one's that the

ghost wizard Horace gives to you, really comes in handle if you have the Wizards Edition book.

Ah those riddle clues are hard indeed, try doing it in Japanese He appeared in the DS version as well & was just as hard to solve.

The thing i do miss is the dreamscape that you sometimes ended up in if you slept at an inn, it was a room full of puzzles to solve by casting magic. Sadly they never added it to the PS3 version.

I played abit for Ni No Kuni for the weekend and about 6 or so hours in and i can see the scope the game is going for, man the overworld map look great and the monster walking around on it, i like the fact that that they chase you if they spot you so much fun

I'm 40hrs in got a badass selection of familiars. Loving my Catastroceros. This game is really easy to grind when you can fly, making the ability to create and level up new familiars all that more fun. Just doing all the side missions and bounty hunts keeps scratching that lovely itch.

I've only put a few hours into this but so far it's pushing all the right buttons. Looking forward to some proper questing and facing some bigger challenges (until the game kicks my ass ). I actually enjoy the grinding/levelling in RPGs so hopefully I'll be in with half a chance with some of the tougher beasties.

On my way to the desert through the Forest of Plenty. The game is everything I had hoped it would be so far both musically and art wise. In RPGs I usually explore every nook and cranny so grinding is no biggy. Not purchased any armor or weapons yet either, base equipment & rewards seems to be getting me through for now, forest of plenty may put a stop to that though.

Looking forward to some Omega weapon/Dragovian trials type battles.

Ugh! Two hours in the desert trying to capture a Green Buncher! When will I get him?!

Also, does this game ever grant you teleport magic? Having to trek back and forth, AGAIN and AGAIN, is getting really ****ing boring.

That's what I liked about Xenoblade. You could fast travel anywhere, any time, no fuss.

I'm guessing those manhole covers will provide fast travel at some point (I've just arrived in the desert)

Fast travel isn't allowed. You're meant to gawp wide-eyed at all the pretties.

Nope. Very mild spoiler: [HIDE]those are just to access your excess familiars (up to 400 of them).[/HIDE]

yup theres a teleport spell which will let you select from most of the major places on a list like the towns & various dungeons once you have visited them. There are parts of the game where you will be stopped from teleporting for a while though as the story progresses.

Theres also a spell to escape a dungeon, will take you to the entrance when cast, very handy when your in upto your neck & have run out of supplies

Just finished it. Took me 50+hrs in total and i was level 80 at the end of it. Fantastic game, well worth the wait. Loved every minute of it. Going to go for all them trophies and do all the post game stuff!

                              I'f i could give it a score, i would give it a 10/10.

Hehe congrats, how did you like the very last boss? Obviously spoiler tag it.

Now you get to do the post game content, there are some pretty hard hunting quests to do, as well as earning the

movie tickets to watch all the cutscenes in the ghost casino
