I'll see you on the battlefield then chopemon, I'll likely be on tonight and all this week, month.

The more you play the multiplayer the more depth you realise this game has, playing the operator is rather interesting in a moving dots kind of way.

Team level is now at 56 and we've taking a second area, it's really starting to get interesting.

dvdx2, it's different that's for sure I loved Gun Griffin 1 & 2 on the Saturn and they were much faster paced action games than the earlier AC games on PS1 & PS2 which I felt were a bit lack luster. AC4, ACFA and ACV are very different games in speed and have much faster gameplay they also have the big set pieces the earlier games lacked, just ask me and pebbles about the thing that kill us on story mission 3. These days I perfer the later AC games to GG.

Sadly no as far as I can tell, no camera options so third person only.

Should point out just to warn people that all servers are region only, so if your in Europe you can't play with US and Japanese players, sames applies to US and Japanese versions.

Drunken Masters are on the PAL, Xbox360 server but your all welcome to join.

Single player is much bigger than I thought as well as you can do all the story and order missions offline and conquest missions to take control of your map offline as well. Don't know how many order missions there are but the last one I did was numbered 73!!

Classic moment tonight.

Vanpeebles, full of cocky swagger, sets up a mission taking out choppers. I attack from the right while he charges headfirst into an arse-kicking. The fool dies straight away, leaving me trying to take out 4 choppers and a load of d-fenz single handedly. Due to lack of ammo/time, I fail.

The brazen fool then has the audacity to lecture me on buying new weapons, legs and ammo boxes so I can pack more firepower.

Presumably to compensate for his bollock-ups!

I'm tempted to pick this when can afford it. I love the old mech warrior games on PC (b4 it got changed) and watched a video today and had a rub my knees geek fest over the stuff to alter. Looks a good one to join for game nights

single player is team play too it seems! we are lv91 and rising. fyi friendly fire is on...worth bearing in mind when certain members are online my AC is now kitted out with all new bits and painted a delightful variety of pinks!!

OK, I'll get into the action as soon as I can, though I'm likely to be a bit of a part timer. Can someone post some kind of help for a newcomer? Doesn't have to be here, maybe in the online sub forum instead?

As with Chrome Hounds looks like there is going to be Wars or Sessions as it calls them in Armored Core V, first one ends on he 4th of April at 12:00.

We've managed to take ten territories, so if you want to get all the territories achievements you'll need to log in before the sessions ends as I'm guess will lose them when the new session start.

Great fun so far looks like there is some hidden boss battles as with Chrome Hounds here a video of what we can look forward to:

I see S3M James has been rather meek in failing to admit that the only reason his unbeaten record is intact is due to two extraordinary solo performances by a certain wagon. Said wagon managed to survive volley upon volley of arse kicking firepower to bring the victory flag home, while S3M's burning AC sat smouldering pathetically amongst the ruins. Twice.

There's no killskanking on this game though, PG! It makes a Pebble strop 32% less likely.
