Finally got to play this. I can see the appeal. Graphics look washed out though and mmo-like. Soon got used to them and quite liked smashing things up. So far I think Sacred 2 is a better game than this though. I may persevere but at the moment I'm left wondering why Blizzard are so revered. I've been getting lag too which as others have already commented, is ridiculous.

In the end the majority of larger games developers / publishers that are still around have made 'landmark' games in the dozens, what have Blizzard done exactly?
Yes their games for the most part are excellent, but they don't seem to be able to move with the times. I don't see anything in Diablo III that couldn't have been done 15 years ago, apart from the online requirements. Sadly they are becoming like ID Software (and others) stuck in the past with no real new ideas.

Starcraft 2 was a fantastic game and not made too long ago. It added things to the genre and improved on virtually everything that has come before it. Its a brilliant game.Last edited by rmoxon; 04-06-2012, 12:31.
