So where do we put our ideas too? Do i just post on the 343i forum, hoping some part of the dev team picks up what the fans want. In its current form im unsure i'd pick up the DLC after the initial 10 weeks, its so close to being a great mode, but no cigar.

Yeah I was a big fan of Firefight. I think Spartan Ops has potential, it just needs some TLC. By making a few changes it could be a decent co-op score attack ala Firefight for those that want it. But I think there needs to be more thought on the actual missions themselves, you watch these well made cutscenes and then join missions that are only related to what you've just seen. Meanwhile the repetition and lack of challenge rob it of any impact. I know it partly sounds like I'm saying I just want Firefight, but what I actually want is a reason to go back to it and keep playing it past the first season.

Came back to MP today after a break for CoD, oh boy that was the great welcome back... i'm guessing all the beginers have gone cos it was nothing like it was before, first couple of matches in big team slayer nothing but DMR, BR and Light rifles at range, not a single player from either side crossed over half way on Ragnaork, and if a vehicle did venture across everyone wiped out the cov pistol or the Sp.Laser... just not fun at all, Slayer wasn't much better as it seems to match you against any hardcore ****er regardless of skill.
So im done with Halo4 mp, the hardcore can keep there ****ty BR poking to themselves.

Theres plenty other modes in the MP. I'd say play with some people that have been rocking the MP. Give regicide a go, its still a bit hectic but you can get some kills,Flood is always fun, and BTS is just about unlocking some skills and weapons, no different to COD, once you have your on a level footing.

Spartan Ops on Legendary is stupid for one reason, Fuel Rod Cannons. I thought a difficulty level meant you stood a chance of not dying. It does not matter if I am 30 feet in the air they will hit me. They really need to sort that out. The only highlight this week was the mechs on Vahala.
I am losing the fun factor with Halo already, worn off a lot quicker than the others. I think maybe because I am getting older but also because there seems to be too many hardcore players. I like competition but now there is no mode for a more relaxed game.
I also find people on Halo only care about themselves, I know this is true of a lot of online games but I have noticed it more in Halo. I have to be the one to follow a teammate or stay close as everyone else just fudges off like Rambo. The maps don't help things especially Complex and where is 1 flag or bomb! Bomb was my favorite game type 343!!! Hopefully they can show planned improvements as right now this is on the list to be sold and Sonic and Sega Transformed will be my new hope.

I've sunk about 4 hours into the campaign. Not feeling it at all. Quite a shame as I bought a 360 just to play this game lol!
I miss having other troops around me like in the first game. It's just me and Cortana running around. She keeps telling me what's going on, mentioning all kinds of things I don't understand (I didn't play 3 so I guess it's my own fault). The combat options are keeping me playing for now but I hope I meet up with some other UNSC dudes soon; it's lonely on my own.

Im still enjoying it... Mainly playing Big Team Battles.
As some have said, many have wised up as to how to play each level tactically but I'm still finding I am holding my own on any map and coming out with a respectable effort in terms of kills, team-play etc...
The game could definitely do with a few more maps now. I know there is DLC coming in Dec but each mode only has a handful of maps and as they havent formally turned on the file browser the Forge is currently really under-utilised.

Yep there is a 2000msp season pass for the next 3 map packs which look to be coming out every 2 months, starting with the first in December.
They've also said the file browser/search functionality will be switched on in December but I've already grabbed a few stellar maps from some peoples file shares by directly entering their Gamertag. That part works right now... and some of the maps have been excellent. There are some decent Remakes out there as well. I've gotten some pretty great Narrows, Lockout and Foundation maps for instance.
I also noticed 343i saying they'd look at custom map popularity and put the best ones into their own playlist rotations moving forward so really whilst the offerings are limited now I think they will drastically improve in the coming weeks.

Borrowed a 360 and rented this out. First up, graphics are finally what they should of been when 3 was released, very nice, beautiful in parts, animation is top notch too. Sound effects are much better that the muted rubbish from 2 onwards too, though not up to the thunderous weapons of the first.
Have to agree with FSW, its definitely jarring having to do everything on your own as all the fire focuses on you, suddenly the grunts with fuel rod cannons become a big threat (not to mention a source of at least 6 cheap kills on the first one i encountered), he locks on, boom dead.
Is it me or do the shields seem weak in this? with no health its become much easier to dye through cheap ways. At least theres no flood too, than f*ck 363 studios finally listened to that, yes im still frowning at YOU bungie.
my quick 2 cents so far.

I picked up some invisibility cloaking shield. Excellent I thought. I cloaked and wandered into a room and everyone opened fire on me. I died. Tried it again, 4 or 5 times, giving it time so that I knew I was totally cloaked but still they attack me. Is this thing broken? I've swapped it for a shield now because it didn't seem to work at all.
I'd give up all my weapons and grenades if I could have infinite ammo for my battle rifle lol. Epic weapon is epic.
