Well I died

during the escape, I then just woke up in the safe house, Prepper was upset and had a breakdown, then I just walked to the tower if London (it's to the left after you walk under the shutters) and the game ended

If you take loads of ammo and med packs with you then the after credit sequence isn't hard.

I'm right at the very end of the game. I'm tooled up to the teeth now too. However, I died whilst escaping, and now the shortcut system is closed, so I've got to walk all the way to Buckingham Palace

I think I can take on Survivor Mode. I've only gone through about 15 people so far in Normal Mode. It's actually quite easy once you have got the CCTV working, so you can check out where to go for ammo and weapons.

Loving this game more and more. The risk/reward balance is pretty much spot on. I tend to use the bat for everything because it's a fun way to deal with the mobs. I think the first encounter with a number of zoms forces you to learn a bit of crowd control, using the environment to you advantage and stuff, it's really satisfying. I also think the save points and underground links are just generous enough.

Only frustrations so far: I had to restart due to respawing without a keycard I'd previously had in my posession (and it was no longer in the place I found it). Also, I don't like using the controller to aim the static guns ... just didn't feel natural, when it should have felt exactly that.

Minor quibbles though. It's a great game. Far better than I expected.

I'm about 25% through now and I've got the suspicion this is quite a small game but it takes so long because I'm inching my way around areas so I don't get clobbered lol. Lost one or two survivors last night during a preset horde rush but Im now back in the swing of it. Clobbered Destrukts and Joes zombies to death for some meds though so Im well stocked now.

If you don't want that to happen to you ever then you need to play offline.

I've kinda given up on this now. I literally cannot find a way back into Buckingham Palace, so I've been walking around aimlessly for three days now. My only mission objective is to recover my previous survivor's backpack.

You don't go back to Buckingham palace if you already used the computer to get the panacea or whatever it's called. You need to go to the Tower of London, which is a two minute walk from the safe house.

I need to collect my bag, which contains the panacea. The game must be bugged, I can't go anywhere other than Brick Lane.

It is not kept in your bag, I died and did not get my bag back, I just went striGht to the tower. You Don't lose quest items when you die. You don't even need it to complete the game anyway, its an item used after the credits. You can complete the game without it.

Joe can you remember exactly where u died as I did the same,got mauled in the sewers and I went back to the same spot and only the panacea was on the floor on the spot that I died on.Then I picked it up and run to the tower walls

I actually had the same problem as Joe (even met him a few times and killed him ), but as BIG EDD said follow the marker to where the original survivor died, pick up the panacea and your good to go. Finished the game, but how do I know what ending I got?
