Just completed this, after reacquiring it in the eShop sale - I hadn't played it in over a year! Really good game, better than I remembered, shame it doesn't seem like it will get a sequel, though it's annoying you can't retry the last bit.

They confirmed no sequel a while back sadly. I really enjoyed this too. Bit too dark in places but a well produced game overall.

I'm VERY early on in this and appear to have ended up in a spiral of death. My first guy was doing pretty well but then a stupid mistake got him killed. So I sent the next person out to finish the job but she ran into even more zombies where my first guy died (no sign of him). She died too. Third guy made it there, killed her and that horde by cheating (beat them from behind a fence). He ran into a punk on his way back from the supermarket and that was the end of him.

And now I'm in death spiral. An attack on my safe house but I have nothing but my cricket bat (how many of these are there in London?). No planks, no nothing because it was all out with my dead people. And I haven't figured out yet how to face more than one zombie at a time without dying. I'm usually grabbed by one while attacking the other.

Any tips?

That's about as far as I got before trading it in.
Push back - attack - repeat. That method works with some practice.

Yep, that's the bit. Not even close to giving up - just lost loads of people in a row yesterday evening and couldn't figure out how to survive when there are a few zombies around me.

I seem to remember fighting them in the corridor between the safe room and the big open area. I just kept shutting the door on them every time they opened it, maybe just letting one at a time in, sometimes none ... quick bat when the door opens then close it straight away. And repeat. Just try and use the bottleneck of the doorway/door-close to your advantage. Seem to remember it took me a few attempts mind

There's a barricade you can climb over / crawl under. Work past that and they will form an orderly queue to get head stomped one after the other. You don't even need to waste any supplies.

I have no supplies! All my stuff went when I lost that first guy.

I'm loving it. Just stuck at that one bit, although I barely got a chance to try again yesterday. Will try again tonight.

The atmosphere, play system and locations are fantastic though.

Finally got past that bit but lost a lot of people doing it. Had no idea where I was going for the next part so wandered around for a while but eventually found where to go (having forgotten the target on the map exists). Then got killed in a very random act of violence. Your characters die really easy in this - guess it makes sense. A zombie bite should be the end.

The graphics seem to be getting murkier where I am and look older gen than the opening parts. Still, does the job.
