Why not use MTFramework? That's surely better? And able to render an actual colour palette.
Yeah I wonder why too since DMC4 looked amazing AND ran at 60fps. I've only played the demo of this but it didn't look all that great and having to play at 30fps made it worse. Maybe it's the terrain deformation or maybe it looks a lot better further in? The gameplay itself did seem promising though but I wasn't too fond of the enemy design, characters or story.

If it runs at 60fps on PC I'll get it on there.

The cobbled stones on the floor... the tiling isn't seamless.

If they can't even get that right, well...

MT Framework is built by a Japanese studio and probably isn't translated.

Do you try to get a western studio to use that or let them use an engine they are already familiar with? Don't be silly Teddy, Unreal can render any colour palette. Unreal can do any style but often publishers and devs want games to look a certain way and that way is the Gears of War way. I once worked on an Unreal game that never got released and we were specifically told by the publisher to make it look like Gears as that is the next gen look.

PC version for me. With Ni No Kuni being delayed a week, this will tidy me over in the meantime. Be criminal not to play this on the pc on my rig.

Best DMC since the 1st imo. While I really liked Part IV the 1st hours of this game , just blows it away.
To me Ninja Theory of one of the best developers out there.

DMC4 looked amazing? On what platform? The PS3 version looks like arse.

Same as you on the PC front though. I'll wait for final reports on that version.

At the time it looked great (and its only a handful of games that run at 1080p and 60 fps )but its 5 years old now and Frameworkland most other games engines have moved on . This game look really nice, it's combat is handle brilliantly and is a fantastic action game (the music is ace too)

Fair enough. I didn't realise it was that old and I've been playing it after playing Bayonetta so perhaps a little unfair to criticise it.

At the time of release I played DMC4 on PS3 and it did look and run amazing then. More recently I played the demo on PC maxed out and it looked sublime to me. Great artwork/design too particularly the church.

This game imo doesn't look as nice and on console is 30fps but throws in more tricks. At least I didn't notice the input lag and screen tearing I've encountered in previous Ninja Theory games.

An article about the the so called fan.

                            Just summing up.
You MLG Pro Devil May Cry 'fans' should really call it a day now. Now that the game is getting decent reviews you call "reviews bought/ bias" and what have you. Almost like they want negative reviews to re-affirm their distain for a game that they haven't played yet. Cut the game some slack, it's not all bad.

Users 'Salarta' and 'Rayge' have more entertaining responses.

Devil May Cry 4 was good. Did people just not like the fact that it didn't star Dante all the way through or what? One of my mates was talking to me about it the other day actually and complaining about the fact that one of the main bad guys was the pope or something (don't really remember the story myself but I enjoyed playing the game)... I'm not sure why that makes it a bad game but there you go.

I haven't played this game yet, but from what I've heard I can only assume that the reason people seem to like it more than DMC4 is because it doesn't have the pope in it.
