I envy you somewhat. That said, Wind Waker on the Cube would probably amaze you too. So good.

      The pictograph is surprisingly fun!

Wanted to take a pic with the first boss but got carried away with all the action.

I can't agree there, I started Wind Waker for the first time a few months ago and just ran out of momentum - think I got just past the finding of the three pearls and have never felt any desire to continue. First Zelda that has ever had that effect on me... I think it's mostly due to the fussy and rigid sailing... Not fun in the slightest. As I understand it, this new version fixes that.

I'd just come off of completing Ocarina of Time so I was really keen to get onto Wind Waker. How about you, your last Zelda game?

Maybe the sailing is a time constraint for people with a busy schedule but I really don't see how it is of big an issue as people are emerging to make out. But fair enough.

Just up to the Triforce Quest now, two down and six to go. It's pretty much the same as before. Bit of a chore but other games ask for worse.

I love Zelda but the sailing in WW killed it. Still haven't completed it.

                    What the hell.

                    Has anyone completed it here?

No. First Post-NES Zelda that I gave up on through complete lack of interest (and it wouldn't happen again until Spirit Tracks). Looks gorgeous though and this remake seems to look even better.

I have. I was serving jury duty when it came out on the GC and it was a fantastic distraction.

I left it during the triforce gathering quest, then picked up again and completed it. The final battle with Ganon was particularly good, and to my knowledge, it's also the only one where

Link drives the Master Sword into Ganon's skull at the end

                          .

My dirty little secret is I've never competed a Zelda game, ever. I always get stuck on some stupidly obtuse puzzle (or the tri force quest which was just a boring chore) and give up

I really hope that Nintendo make a new Zelda using this art style - WWHD is so beautiful that an all new adventure in this mould would suit me fine.

Last one I played before WW was Twilight Princess, which I loved. Played all the others (pre-wii) with the exception of WW. It was not so much the time it takes to sail as much as the way I kept getting turned around if I went off path (it's a frickin' ocean!)
