Destiny 360/PS3/XBOX ONE/PS4 review

I ranked up 6 characters to level 5 on iron banner this week, (my boyfriend is away on holiday, so I ranked up his characters and mine).

I really enjoyed it tbh, got a bunch of drops but nothing exciting.

It would be good to play with a regular team instead of having to find a new team on the lfg sites every hour or so. Also, - fishyb and S3M - hurry up and get yourselves a PS4! Destiny is a much nicer experience on the PS4 and I know you're both pretty decent on PvP.

My pvp skills are much better than some of my retarded croata & skolas runs. Even managed some impressive come backs with randoms against decently organised teams in the iron banner last week despite my currently awful wifi connection.

I will upgrade to a ps4 eventually once some more compelling single player exclusives appear, or, once everyone leaves destiny on ps3 and im left all alone just wandering the moon by myself

The game won't even start without an Internet connection, nada, nothing, zip. It's always populated with someone in your field of view in the game world. To be honest, it's much better for it.

Going to be a while yet I'm afraid bcass, still waiting on more unique games for the PS4 at the moment. It will happen at some point as I have no plans on getting an Xbox One. Noticed a few of the guys I used to play with have jumped to PS4 now.

Not played that much in the past few weeks and I doubt I'll be buying taken king on launch at the moment. I did noticed that Destiny and the expansion pass are both on sale at the moment for PS3 and Xbox 360, I assume also PS4 and Xbox One.

Surprised Bloodborne hasn't tempted you yet. I'm not the biggest Souls fan but even I got a lot out of it and I still haven't completed it yet. But you're right, there'e not a lot of exclusive must-haves for the machine yet. If it wasn't for Destiny I wouldn't have bought one yet either.

Hoping for more fights like the one above in the new raid. Be it with 2 or 6 people Would also be nice if we could also get more than one boss per strike, and have tactics instead of a bullet sponge with high damage.

Though impressive, Destiny was easier with a smaller team back then. Players would consistently solo Nightfalls, which I also did every week. Thats sometimes impossible nowadays (I couldn't solo this weeks for example, but I did recently Solo Vaulus and Phogoth because of their burns). Enemy behaviour, damage and HP isn't reduced anymore.

VoG with only 2 players had much less aggressive AI etc, those Hob majors died in 2 hits at the 300 cap and in the portals the enemies don't really react much and the damage is greatly reduced. Its still impressive ofcourse, as you need perfect teamplay for the Oracles and Templar. They also needed to drop the relic to shoot oracles to the point of getting blinded. And you need to glitch sunsingers on point.

This video does show that VoG was much better done than Crota which was ridiculously easy to solo at least until Crota himself (who isn't hard to solo either if you had Gjallarhorn and level 32). I never beat it myself though, I always got hit when I wanted to down him from the sides. But I got there without much of a problem.

Nightfall dropped 3rd Ghallorhonrn for me just last week... Of course this was completely random, just like Xur now selling the ?berweapon 3 weeks close to the nerf and next DLC.

Good for everyone who grinded the game and still hasn't got it.

It's just a huge troll by bungie. Sold exactly 4 weeks before the nerf hammer smashes down? Not a coincidence.

Honestly the staff at bungie must laugh their nuts off the crap they put people through because of the rng.

Bungie manipulates the drop algorithms for certain items that's pretty much evident now. and they do it so that people keep playing the game either for grinding or levelling items. imagine how much players will now start to level their newly acquired Gjallarhorns.
