    Weekly event as increasing the difficulty increases the coin reward and if you already done it this week on default you can pick up the extra coins on the difference.

    I'm hoping they don't destroy the large clip AR as there useless at range due to the recoil kick and 8 prefer them over the 30 clip variants.

    Is the xur auto 30 or 70 clip?

      Weekly strike playlist gives you 3 coins per difficulty, so potential for 9 coins a week.
      As well as random drops of course.

        Bump the difficulty up a notch or 2 on the daily heroic mission for ascendant shards...today's is on earth and a cakewalk.... Did it on Lv 28 and got 2 shards!
        Bought an engram and a helmet from Xur and trashed them for another 6 shards so now need 6 more to Max my dude!

        Sadly though...unless I can get a Raid squad going very soon, Destiny will be shelved. The completely luck based loot is annoying enough...but the real thing that has annoyed me is the patch.

        I don't care that they did the caves, or really that they nerfed the queens gear. But if they can bang out a patch in 2 days to protect their precious "vision" then why aren't they doing it for sniper shotguns, centipede errors, impossible bounties etc etc?

          They really need to design the upcoming Raids for smaller team sizes. Coordinating 6 people to play over the course of a week is going to be impossible for most.

            Yup.
            They were quite content to remove/ introduce a greater cooldown on caves and spawns (since when was farming on these types if games an exploit...) on a rush and made a patch for it. But did absolutely nothing to improve it in the interim.

            Only slight mystic hints on "oh, we might tone down the AR, or increase damage for the Scout rifle... In the non descript future"

            Meanwhile the Cryptroll is laughing all the way to the bank with the legendary engrams he's converted to (soon to be salvaged) rares/ uncommons.

              They should of just left the cave and queens gear as was (queens emissary is timed anyway) and just put those devs on more proper content, new strikes, improving the frequency of the public events.

              Seriously, the public events are the best thing about destiny, why the hell arnt there more of them, does the cryptarch control them or something? Might explain the stinginess of their likelihood.

                  There is a public event on every area every 5-10 mins if you move around, try Google and destiny public event timer.

                      Yeah the Cryptroll is a total joke, I thing legendary engrams have a randomness of 80% Rare, 20% Legendary. I've had one rare item upgrade to a legendary and the odds must be round %1-2.

                      Knee Jerk naff fixes remind you of another game that Bioware made?

                      Bungie really need to thing each think each fix though else they well just lose players left right and center, right now the exploits are what keep people are coming back.

                        I think the only problem is not the time it takes to level but, the speedy arrival of modes that require you to be 26+ it was the first week that these modes showed up, if certain events didn't suggest level 24+ there would be no need to grind and rush through the levels at all, It's a problem of there own making really.

                          I've handed a good 20/25 purple items in and as yet I've been given naf all back!!
                          Some have come back blue but mostly greens, complete joke really.
                          I'm still yet to find/own anything legendary.

                          I have around 4 more purples to hand in from over a week ago before my holidays, I'm hoping one at least comes back legendary!
