Destiny ensured it has become a once a week game now...

Banged the Raid out in less than an hour, nobody got any armour so we are all stuck at lv29 til at least next week.

Its a shame cuz Tuesdays are great fun! Nightfall and Heroic Strikes then the Raid! But the hard raid is awful at lv29 and no other mode moves you on.

Re- Iron Banner....was hilarious melting level 22s with a Plan C rifle...but a 20000 - 2500 win wasn't all that much fun

Super quick level 30 have done this myself and it works

regarding iron banner is it always gonna be capture control points as i hate capture control points especial when not playing in a team as you get rinsed by any team with a small amount of organisation. I did notice killing peeps was much easier but then its always gonna be when your lvl 27 and your fighting against lvl 21s

Last night I did a farming run on venus while watching tv i need a ton of spirit bloom to level up my legandary armour. the vita is great for this sort of activity where you don't need to give it your full attention, to do this run you start a patrol on Venus and immediately head left to the first area, if you walk around the edge of the area there are tons of cave checking these will net you about 4 chests per round trip, once you have completed the lap of the area jump on your sparrow head back out to near the patrol start point and rinse and repeat. the great thing about this area is it also drops a public even every 30 minutes and you can get patrol missions that usually just involve collecting or killing.

In the space of an hour I got 70 odd spirit bloom a ton of engram's including a legendary, and completed 6 patrol Venus missions, towards the end of the run I had a go at levelling up the duel fusion rifle vanguard bounty too but its a real pain to get.

I've got the fusion rife bounty as well taken me all week to get it to level 9, fastest way to get 10 rare fusion rifles is to just do level 24 strike missions over and over again.

Does anyone know what trading in items like 50 Spirit Bloom to the Shop Keepers gives you in return?

Always worth checking the gun seller for rare fusion rifles....I got my last 2 from him. Still need to finish the next section of that bounty...200 fusion rifle kills on Nightfall strikes (90 so far).

Trading in materials gets you 5 marks and 25 rep for crucibal or vanguard (depending on which quartermaster you use) and 250 glimmer.

what to get I already have a final boss legendary sniper the ice breaker is less powerful according to the destiny wiki. (even though its an exotic???) It only goes as high as 300 damage where as the final boss dose 358 when maxed out. I was trying to complete a full set of dead orbit armour but the exotic hunter chest armour is mighty tempting too, only problem is it looks a bit crap lol.

The Wiki covers the beta version of Final Boss sniper. Values have changed and now it has 300 max attack power.

Actually, has anyone seen any weapons currently obtainable that go over 300 attack? Or is there a way to get a bit more attack out of types of weapons, perhaps by faction affiliation or high rank etc?

Every exotic and legendary weapon I have seen maxes at 300, so the other stats (esp. impact) and perks make the difference.

Ice breaker regens ammo.
The perfect raid sniper...especially on hard when wiping steals your ammo.

Cheers for that Loftgroover, OMG 200 Nightfall Strike kills guess I'm doing solo runs then to max the kills.

Legendary and Exotic weapons have the same max damage from what I've seen, which is a bit of a bummer. Plus you can only wear one Exotic item, what's that all about.........

Ice Breaker is the best PvE weapon in the game. You can easily solo Nightfall with it, which I did yesterday. Solo is easier than grouping up anyway, enemies are much more passive. 200 Nightfall kills can be done in the non-instanced areas too I think, shouldn't be hard.

Also tried Iron Banner to see if its indeed another lie by Bungie. Well it is. Just take a Cydonia or something and wreck shop. In fact I unequipped al my maxed gear.

Two chars ive now got to 26 and its like 'vei hit a brick wall with both. This and that needed to upgrade, those shards are like rocking horse**** and everything wants about 12 of them and i've only earned about that during my whole play through.

Think i may go warlock now just because ive been dumped with a couple of items for that class.

Oh and crypto guy has twice sent me items to the posteie that got me excited thinking it was purple and to break up into 2-3 blues. Blues suck bum now

i hate this game so much at this moment, but i keep on playing it. I feel unclean knowing i should be putting more time into forza horizon

Best way to get accendant shards is on the daily heroic and weekly heroic quests. The easiest way to get them is by breaking down legendary gear. I'm at a point where I have the armour I want to upgrade so my vanguard and crucibal marks are not important, they also stop accumulating when you have 200 or more of them so it's worth buying the cheaper legendary bits and breaking them down, you get 2/3 shards per piece.
