Still can't beat the last raid boss on hard...got him to 20% a few times but its brutal.

Team fell apart a bit at the end...some people don't react well under stress it seems

Back to trying it on normal til I can get level 30...listening to people moan is no fun.

The queens buggering off today and taking her car boot full of helmets and chest armour with her, She is being replaced by iron banner and If you thought pvp was bad iron banner sounds like they broke it even more. Im not sure who thought removing what little balance was there in the first place was a good idea, I will give it a try but I think I'm Gonna get my arse kicked as i only have rare's in my primary weapon slots.

I'd be up for it but still need legendary weapons for all clases, plus legendary boots and legs, probably better chest piece as well to augment auto rifles. Unfortunately I'm going away for 3 weeks next week and will no way have time before to grind for it all.

Best way to get legendary gear, to to just get your vanguard rank up to level 3 and beyond. It's what I did and why a bit of a boring road pays off in the. Once you get to rank 3 you also start getting vanguard mails which only contain legendary gear.

Splashwave also has the PS3 version but I've not seen him on much.

Looks like the Iron Banner gear isn't as good as the Raid gear, which is daft as most of the IB bounties required to increase IB rep are really tough. It will take a ridiculous amount of time to level up IB rep, with the only reward being able to buy more standard Legendary gear. You won't stand much of a chance in IB unless you're already fully equiped with Legendary gear, so the reward of items equivalent to what you already have seems bizarre,

I think just having the iron banner added to bounties is a bit of a misstep those players that ignore pvp and stuck to vanguard where well catered for with the queens bounties no mater what they played. The reliance on iron banner and overpowered pvp for the next couple of weeks cuts out a bit of the variety the queen bounties offered.

God damn, I was close to hitting rank 2 with queen. If they've taken it away now for stupid pvp bounties I will be incredibly pissed off. Finally close to some half decent gear so that I can actually participate effectively in pvp and the rug is pulled. Certainly won't be supporting another destiny game if this is bungie's increased lack of concern for customers.

I have to say, this server maintenance lasting "several hours" at peak time for Europe is pretty poor. I mean, in this day and age it seems antiquated in the first place. There are plenty of examples of zero downtime servers/services out there.

This is why I didn't even bother ranking her missions up in the first place. Given how hard and long it is to rank any of the vanguard/crucible ranks up are, what's the point of doing any timed ones if you have, well you know, a life outside destiny.

Given the absolute joke prices of the dlc, I can see myself being left behind the pay wall when ranking up in the future.

Yep, it was only really worth doing the Queen's missions if you were missing Legendary helmet/chest armour/sniper rifle.

I got a chest piece from one of her missions, after that just helmets, wanted the sniper too but never got that either.

Iron Banner missions are insane manged to do one but OMG. That said you only to to play about 5-6 matches to level up in the fraction did a hour this morning and got to Rank 1 already. Gear for it is **** however, legendary Machine Guns and that's your lot plus don't enter unless you are 25+ as otherwise you will just die match after match.
