Well like someone else posted it would be nice to see a list with peoples actual system. I sent some people friend requests only to find they are on the ps3. (i'm on ps4)

I havent missed a day on this but trying to find people to do a raid is a pain in the backside and i dont even know if i can hit 30 without raids

30 is 3x raid gear and 1 exotic, which for most people would be exotic head, then from normal raid, the feet/hands/body. I think the best you can do without is just over the line into 29 with capped 1 exotic and 3 legendary.

Yeah that's me. Exotic chest piece and the rest all legendary. All maxed out and I'm level 29 and around a quarter.
I've not done a raid yet so no raid armour for me :-(

True you still need Raids, I was thinking of legendary gear that goes to 30 too. I use a full raid set for ages now, which is all legendary. For 30 you'll need Normal Raid gear and an exotic helmet.

29 is fine though. The last 3 Hard Raids I beat with 4 level 29 people. The boss is tricky because of 30's need to warp for best chance but even then you can work around it by sending a 30 in the portal anyway.

When the updated Iron Banner returns, we're supposed to be able to purchase IB armour that can also get you to level 30. You have to play IB and reach the required level like the other factions' gear.

Raid can be done in under an hour with the right group. Hard mode you really need 3-4 30's in the group to stack the odds in the players favour for the final boss fight.

Regarding the upcoming DLC on the PS3, is it usually a problem purchasing DLC from the US PSN store and using it with an UK version of the main game? E.g. purchase DLC from US store using my US account, then play main game + DLC using my UK account that I used to buy the main game. US PSN credit can be bought off eBay for approx. ?7 for $10 cards. The Dark Below DLC is going to be $20, so that works out at ?15, which makes it more palatable.

Buying us cards from Amazon.com is cheaper than ebay, there digital delivery too so you get them straight to your inbox, you just need a us address borderlinx is free to set up.

not sure if dlc is region specific would be nice to know as $35 is ?22 at the mo which is a ?13 saving on the UK price DLC.

Bcass, sorry to say I wouldn't recommend that as DLC is often region locked and or skew encoded to not work with other versions.

It might work, but I doubt it as I worked on PSN as the USA side with SCEA is very different to the SCEE side. It would be a blind punt at best I'm afraid.

I'll scrap that idea and try and find some cheap UK PSN cards then. I managed to get ?50 worth of PSN cards for ?37 (which is how I bought the game) so hopefully there's still some savings to be had. In the absence of eBay, does anyone know anywhere else that sells UK PSN cards for less than face value?
