Been offline for a few weeks due to a house move, man I missed playing this game so much.

Capcom Cup kicks off this evening starting with the Last Chance Qualifier at 8pm GMT. This tournament looks like it's going to be a complete blood bath and could be better then the cup itself.

Been bashing the Battle Pass last couple of night, hopefully should have that done tonight and can go back to Rank.

Been playing Masters in the BH and Juri, Honda and Rashid seem like they can press buttons all day long and one wrong guys and you are on the receiving end of a very long combo. Need to get the timing right for perfect parry against Honda.

Haven't played in months now but still following the game and very keen to see what happens with CCX. I logged in the other day to cast a vote for Endingwalker to win, more as a "I would like this to happen" rather than "statistically I think it's the most likely", and then he went and landed in the group of death. I like the narrative of him making it out of that pool to then go on and win the lot even more exciting, though!

Agreed as well that the LCQ is absolutely bananas - format means it'll be a nightmare to keep up with, but every single pool is stacked with killers. I'm actually of the mindset that a good bet would be on whoever wins the LCQ to take the whole thing, as it certainly says a lot for current form and adaptability.

damn, LCQ is stacked! Is it just one that goes through? I think I remember Zhen getting through SFV LCQ.

My word Hibiki is demonstrating Lilly to be an absolute destroyer. This guy is the number one Ranked player in the world.

Kakeru came out top in that bracket but yeah, Hibiki is, as the name suggests, a beast. Don't think there's much argument against him being the best Lily playing the game right now. Caught brackets B and C last night, so saw Problem X doing great work going 2-0 in all of his games (beating moke, MOV...) and lining himself up for top 16 on the winner's side. Will be rooting for him on Sunday!

Got to Diamond 5 yesterday, but then went on an unholy losing streak back to Diamond 4.5

Kakeru came out top in that bracket but yeah, Hibiki is, as the name suggests, a beast. Don't think there's much argument against him being the best Lily playing the game right now. Caught brackets B and C last night, so saw Problem X doing great work going 2-0 in all of his games (beating moke, MOV...) and lining himself up for top 16 on the winner's side. I have had so many people either leave after one match or just out rage quit on a loss. I am exactly the same as you Rank up and then get battered back down. But I can almost taste that Master Rank at this point.

Best thing about D4 is the fact that you get to ruin someones run to Master, I have played so many people that were a match or two away and then I go and take both matches from them.

Watched most of the LCQ pools over the past couple of days, but just about made it home in time tonight to stay glued to the whole of top 16, and WHAT A PAY OFF.

What an incredible run - losing to Punk so badly in winner's finals and then running it back in grand finals is one hell of a way to wrap it up too. Now have two names to root for in the tournament proper!

I got to Rank Up Opportunity for Master last night and my next match was against Sweden's Rickemansbarnet (JP). I lost, then went on a salty losing streak. Love/hate this game
