Has anyone managed to integrate these new moves into their normal gameplay yet? What ones are actually useful to learn?

James, if memory serves I recieved the ball with Koller, tapped R2 and pressed up to get him to turn. Then pressed R1+R2 to get him to push the ball away, had a shot and pressed either R1 or R2 to add some serious swerve.

Olympic, I'm finding most of the moves useful in normal gameplay. The best ones I recomend you learning to use are the dummy cross, body swerve (shoulder drop), R1+R2 ball push and dummy shots/long balls.

One move I find utterly pointless is the ball flick by pressing up-down on the right stick. I'm yet to work out a purpose for that bitch yet, and probably never will. My current mission is to score that trick shot with one leg behind the other in normal play.

Oh, and is anyone else becoming constantly fustrated by the choice of pass the cpu decides on for you? The searching pass is all very well, but on numerous occasions Ive wanted a simple pass or back pass, and the ps2 has simply amazed me with the lameness and outright dumbness of its passes.

just used that save file - thanks Ono. i like the camera on that. i normally use the default one but that the one on the save is is a bit closer to the action which i prefer.

one other thing i noticed is how much better this plays on a larger screen. i tried playing on a small tv and couldnt really get into it. you can also notice the quality of the graphics on a larger screen

all we need now is patch for full english. for me its the best multiplayer release so far this year and i doubt anything will beat it

Ive started to use the R2 stepover with the likes of Ronaldo now to bamboozle defenders. Looks great when you combine it with a shoulder feint and then a dummy shot.

I'm thinking the R3 down-up might be handy for going over sliding challenges (with R2 to hop the challenge) but it's so hit and miss. the move doesn't send the ball high enough for you to get away with it if it isn't timed perfectly so it's very easy to chest down and beat as long as the defender doesn't hit the deck.

Just beat the czechs 3-0 in the euro final (5 stars of course ) My hardest match by far was the dutch in the 1/4 final where i only just beat them on sudden death penalties. Such an excellent match and probably ranks as my best in the pes/we series for a long time. The semis agains france were a damp squib in comparison.
Enjoying integrating my skills into the game alot more than ive done before. Love fooling the defence with a dummy cross then drilling one in across the box.
Is six stars worth it? or is it just the ai being cheap as opposed to posing a real challenge?
